What is the function of this switch (wall remote)

Can a 4-DIP Switch Ceiling Fan Wall Remote Control Support a 5-DIP Switch Receiver?

• No, a 4-DIP switch remote cannot directly support a 5-DIP switch receiver. The number of DIP switches determines the unique frequency code combinations. A 4-DIP switch remote supports 16 combinations, while a 5-DIP switch receiver supports 32 combinations.
• You may need to match a 5-DIP switch remote with the receiver to ensure proper communication.
• Alternatively, consult the manufacturer to confirm if the 5th switch on the receiver can be left unused or set to a default position to make it compatible with a 4-DIP switch remote.

Does it support dimming function?

• Yes! But only support light ON/OFF. If your light is LED bulbs, just can control LED bulbs’ on/off.

Suitable for ceiling fan with reverse switch

Use the steps below to change the direction of your ceiling fan:

1. Shut off the ceiling fan and wait for the blades to come to a complete stop.
2. Using a ladder or step stool to reach the motor housing, locate the direction switch.
3. Flip the switch in the opposite direction.
4. Step down and turn the ceiling fan back on.
5. Verify the ceiling fan blades are moving in the right direction.

How to Install

Wall control installs easily

IMPORTANT: Fan speed and light control will not be activated by remote if pull chains for fan and light are not set to the HIGH and ON positions respectively

• The 115/120 volt/60 Hz wall control features two-wire installation for use in a standard junction box to replace an existing wall switch.

WARNING! Hook up "in series only"! Do not connect "NEUTRAL" supply wire of electric circuit to the transmitter wall switch, damage to the transmitter and possible fire could occur.

• Once you install the receiver in the ceiling fan, the wall control communicates wirelessly with the fan up to a distance of 40-feet.
• This unit can handle a fan maximum of 1 Amps and a light maximum of 300 watts. A matching wall plate is included for installation.
