I have learned I really like Parmesan cheese fresh. Instead of the graters that have a wheel that are hard to clean or the large 4-sided graters that are just too big, these graters are simple, quick, and easy to clean.

I bought this to zest citrus fruit. I have never had one before, and confess that whenever I came across "zest" as an ingredient in a recipe, I would substitute a little juice instead. This year for Christmas dinner I am making a boozy cranberry relish that has lemon zest both as an ingredient and garnish. Decided it was time to step up and get the right tool for the recipe...As soon as it arrived I practiced by zesting a lemon. The tool is very easy to use, and it is also easy to clean. (the little brush that comes with it is handy when cleaning) I dont think I will use this much, so am glad I found one that works so well for an affordable price.
