It’s sturdier than I expected.

This arrived exactly as shown. This is a high quality, versatile little zester with a nice cleaning tool. Such a deal compared to other options.

It would probably work best for spices, but for lemon zest it doesn't work well. I wasn't able to get much zest from my lemon and it took forever. 😩

I've never used a zester before and this one was sturdy and very easy to use. It also will finely shred cheese.

We use everyplate meal/ingredient delivery boxes every week and I am so glad I snagged this zester! I never even thought about zesting a lemon or a lime until I started using the service a couple of years ago. You need to zest for SO many of the recipes and I was dumb and kept using a cheese grater. It did the job, but barely. This thing zests so smoothly. There is no resistance, it just glides like butter. I like that the zest collects on top, so you can just take pinches of zest right off of the tool.

I have a zester that I purchased 15 years ago. it was a good purchase but it took up a lot of room and that was the only thing it did. So this one is so nice since cuz it doesn't take up more room than a knife and it can grate among other things.

NOTE: I am a member of the Amazon Vine Program. I try out new products, and then provide an honest, unbiased review, based on my personal impressions and experience. I am not paid for my reviews. If you've ever been in the middle of a recipe that calls for zested citrus, only to realize you don't have a zester and then having to improvise, this tool is for you! This one actually has LOTS of uses, which are depicted and demonstrated on the box it comes in: Zester, Channel Knife (for curls), Citrus Fruit Skin Cutter, and Grater. It comes with sturdy plastic sheaths to cover both ends and a small cleaning brush. The metal itself is a little thinner than I expected, but not so thin that it will easily bend or dent. It will certainly do the job it's designed for, which in my opinion, is focused on citrus fruits. The items description indicates it can be used for chocolate, cheese, etc. I think this tool is a bit small for those, although I suppose I might use it for a dusting of chocolate over a cake or something. (I think cheese would simply get clogged up - even a dry parmesan.) That said, this is a handy little tool, and a great value for the asking price.

Works like a charm so far no problems whatsoever after multiple uses.
