Product introduction：

Callout the quick guide column with one button. There are special vedio guide for each vehicle diagnosis function, including wiring method, adjustment method, reference waveform etc. And it is supported to be checked through scanning the QR code.
The result can be printed with one button and generate diagnosis report which is easy to be saved and recorded.
REF Comparison Waveform
The user can save the waveform as REF format and callout it again when you need to compare the two waveforms catched in different time.
Data Storage
The diagnosis result can be saved as the format of txt, csv, rfc, xls, doc, jpg and etc. It is convenient to be checked and compared later.
8CH Vehicle Diagnosis
8CH signal can be measured simultaneously. The measurement voltage of each channel can be adjusted independently. You can choose to open or close each channel.
Waveform Record
Support to record and replay the waveform. The waveform can be save into the computer hard disk and easy to read. There is no limit to the record time which can long-time measure and record the waveform for troubleshooting.
Cursor Measurement
Support 4 types of cursor measurement mode -cross,track, horizontal, and vertical.It's easy to read out the time and voltage of irregular signal.
Color and Lightness
The background color is optional as user's preference. And the lightness of waveform and gridding is settable.
USB Communication
USB2.0 power supply + communication interface, plug and play, and support hot plugging.

I am a diesel technician that specializes in electrical diagnostics. I have a pocket scope and a original Snapon modis. I bought this scope to be able to get more in depth captures. I was a little worried about the quality for the cost being so cheap. I’ve used it for about a month now and it’s worked flawlessly. The value for the money is great because I can’t afford to buy a pico at this time. The driver and software was easily downloaded from hantek’s website. I’ve scoped Isb diesel Bosch injectors Ive scoped crank position sensors I’ve scoped relative compression tests. My only complaint is the captures don’t give a numerical value for the wave form but if you know what you’re looking for it won’t make much difference. Great entry level scope to learn on.

Although for the money this unit is a good deal, I was hopping the driver and software would install on a Windows Vista laptop which I have a few that are used mainly for electronic work, Plc coding etc.. The Main program installs ok and runs in demo mode but the driver will not for vista.. or anything older I guess. In version C I believe the USB interface was changed, the drivers for the older models do install but won't match the USB interface in the C model. I just order a Windows 10 tablet (RCA 10.1 inch ) that has two USB ports on it. The help file does state it requires windows 7 and up but does not seem to state that here on the site when looking at it.. Just

After hours of frustration and very little training available for this product. I threw it away and bought a pico. They do make decent accessories though. You get what you pay for.

I didn't want to drop hundreds of dollars into an oscilloscope right now, but needed the ability to watch CAN bits fly in near real time for an Arduino project I am doing. Without this wonderful tool, I doubt I would have figured out the issue was the timing crystals on the CAN breakout boards. Definitely worth it to provide many more diagnostic functions.Only gripe is I work with data recorders a lot and would love to find a software that allowed this to be the input to recording raw voltages instead of just the scope function.
