No issues with cables. Work perfectly. Still got some old monitors that are DVI and these allowed me to connect a modern graphics card to them easily. DVI is old school, but this does the job if you've got an older monitor. Note that these cables are directional and only work going from the HDMI to the DVI. So in the case of an older monitor that doesn't have HDMI for use with a newer graphics card that only has HDMI. Fairly typical setup I would think. But this won't go from DVI to HDMI (like old graphics card to a new monitor).

Pros: Inexpensive. Seemingly good materials and sturdy construction. Two at this price seemed a "no-brainer."Cons: I made a mistake and would have needed female HDMI to male DVI, these are of course male to male. I'm using an older monitor and was using the VGA port on monitor with an adapter to female HDMI 1.0. Finding a DVI port on the same monitor during this process, I will save these for later use, and purchased a singular 8k@60hz, 4k@120hz, upto 48 GBs transfer rate, 6' long, HDMI/DVI 2.1 male to male cable.

I needed this wire, because i was creating a triple monitor setup. I had no space left other then a DVI slot for my graphics card. This wire is very high quality and i recommend purchasing this. This was created with such beautiful materials, you can feel the craftsmanship that you never felt before. My setup is now one of the most insane setups ever.

You need a got a great deal on a desktop and still want to use my 27 inch monitor. You need a HDMI connection at the desktop to connect to a DVI plug on the monitor. Very good price and quick service
