My millivolt gas fireplace only had a manual switch mounted in the wall. When the room gets nice and warm, who wants to get up to shut it off? Answer: no one. The receiver fit perfectly in the existing box. I had it installed and working in about 15 minutes. 4 stars on the remote. It's nice with the time, room temp and set temp on it. But the buttons for Auto and Manual are just weird. It's 2 buttons in a circle, with the top left being smaller for manual and bottom right for auto. 2 separate buttons would be better so you don't accidentally select auto instead of manual or vise versa. I don't want my fireplace coming on when I'm not home (though the cats wouldn't mind).

I was surprised by this item! It was easy to install and worked right the first time and ever since. I've had it a couple of months now. Like it says in the info, it will be w/in +-3 degrees of actual room temperature. I find mine is off around 1.5 degrees less. The remote is easy to program. It works laying around on a table about 15' from the fireplace. I definitely recommend it.

I used this to replace another one that the remote stopped working. Was very easy to replace. The only trouble I had was it said you could change the settings of the dip switches inside. When I did that the remote would not work. Followed the directions to reset the remote even removed the batteries and it would not work! So I set them back the way they were and it works fine. Not really a big deal.

purchased to replace an old unit. Did not realize this was a battery unit. This model is a thermostat control, which is great. (Some models are only on/off with automatic 6 hour off.)Battery model is more difficult to get the remote to sync to the battery receiver. Takes patience to sync, but then okay until batteries need replacing - keep sync instructions nearby.I have one of each model for upstairs and downstairs.

Arrived quickly and was easy to install. Was a replacement for my old acumen. Took me a couple of times to get the remote to “sync†but that was easy to do as well.

I like to fix things but this was easy to install and works like a charm. Keep in mind as people have commented if u want it to go on off manually the on and off switch is separated into two buttons one is for auto on according to temp and the other side is manual on/ off. Easy to operate. Now if I can find a blower I’ll be all set. My blower just went , yesterday!

Replaced this on our gas fireplace. We lost the remote to the original. Wasn't plug and play, but was able to get it connected with basic electrical tools. Great product.

I was able to get the receiver to pair with the old remote I had, but not with this new one. Contacted acumen online and they were absolutely no help.

Il n'y a pas de meilleur télécommande. J'en ai asseyé trois avant de mettre la amin sur celui-ci. Il n'apparaît facilement sur amazon mais tu ne le regretteras jamais

This is an item that few people buy. All we needed was the remote. Had to buy the total kit for close to 300$.

I bought this remote as a replacement for a Napoleon fire place. Installation was straight forward and uncomplicated. It works exactly as it is supposed to. It is more expensive than I had hoped for, but overall, I’m happy with this purchase.
