Started using a heat gun for my resin art, and it has made such a difference! One of the most frustrating things when working with resin is dealing with bubbles, but this heat gun has been a game-changer in getting rid of them.I simply use the heat gun on a low setting and gently pass it over the surface of my resin pieces. The heat helps bring the bubbles to the surface, where they pop and disappear. It’s quick and easy, and it leaves my resin art looking smooth and flawless. The best part is, I don’t have to worry about disturbing the resin or causing any unwanted ripples or texture – it’s all about a light touch. Not only does the heat gun work wonders for bubble removal, but it also helps to smooth out the resin and add a nice glossy finish. It’s become an essential tool in my resin art process, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to ensure their pieces come out looking polished and professional. It’s a small investment that makes a huge difference!

This heat gun works great for resin projects. Super easy to use and put on/off the attachments. Only two settings but is all you really need for crafting. Low does a nice job of giving out heat without a lot of movement on wet resin and high will give you those nice wave patterns on beach scene resin. Its light and just a little larger than what I would prefer but overall a great deal for the design and quality

it do not feel like the highest quality, but it works fine for my purposes. I have used it a half dozen times and heats quickly and does the job. Not sure if it would hold up if I were using it daily but that is not my use case. Mostly used it to heat the wire shrink covering when I have to do some custom splicing of my permanent christmas/holiday eve lighting, and other odd jobs. I have also used in the kitchen in place of a butane torch for browning a praline pecan top on a pie, probably my favorite use so far.

I wanted to buy some rod holder sleeves for my fishing poles, and the seller suggest you use a heat gun to put them on. You actually heat them to cause the material to shrink to form around the rod handle. I thought about using my wife's high priced hair dryer, which might have worked. But ultimately, I decided to just buy a cheap heat gun. Turned out to be the right choice. I'm sure you can buy more expensive, more powerful guns, but this one worked great for this purpose.

This is a basic heat gun that has good heat. I also found it to be tuff, because we dropped it several times and it survived.
