This is a super simple heat gun. Plug it in, warm it up, and off you go! Worked great for some shrink wrap I needed as well as some wire tubing. Good price, easy to use, has all the accessories I needed. Highly recommended!

My old heat gun finally gave up the ghost. At the price, I felt a little skeptical with my expectations for this one. I figured that it was worth a try - if it didn't live up to expectations, I could always go back to the more expensive name brand.So far, I have to say that I'm impressed - ESPECIALLY at this price. It has the power to generate plenty of heat for my needs, And the simple, hands-free option it has built into its design (it simply has a flat base) was stable and safe. I used it with heat-shrink tubing to insulate permanent outdoor Christmas lights. And so far - about 150 sleeves in - it's worked perfectly.

I really like the multiple heat settings and then the rotary on the back to fine tune the heat you are getting. It is much better that the old low or high settings on my old gun.Build quality seems to be good and the included accessories are a nice added benefit.Overall, really happy with the unit.
