From the Manufacturer
The 601-AC wired push button features an antique copper finish with a Halo-lighted center push button insert. This push button has a portion that must recess into the surface it is mounted to. It requires a 5/8-Inch (or 16mm) diameter hole to be mounted properly. The plate of this push button sits flush on the surface, while the back portion of the push button recesses into the hole.

Not sure why all of the negative reviews. The doorbell is very stylish and goes great with our decor. As to the actual mechanical parts? It’s a doorbell. What else can I say? Do I expect the light to last forever? No. The light doesn’t appear to be a LED, but then again if it was the light wouldn’t be as warm looking as it is. I don’t care if I have to replace the light part every couple of years. The trade off in looks is worth it. It took less than ten minutes to install it.

Nice looking and I like that it lights up. Who cares if it is not LED? It is a low voltage wire already, it seriously didn't even bump the meter so I am unclear on why the other poor reviews were complaining about the energy use. It was actually good quality, even survived a puppy chewing prior to install, no obvious marked to prove her ever got a hold of it! :) Classy Looking... matches our hardware (oil rubbed bronze), good quality.

Installed this on my stone our front. The light halo isn't much, and honestly wouldn't pay extra for it. It does work however, and wasn't too difficult to install. The color is the bronze, and so far it still works!

works well. easy to install. 2 wires to connect and low voltage so no worry about danger. It is recessed, so make sure your post has a hole big enough to fit the back. I had to use my dremel and cut out a half dollar size hole to fit it. No big deal though!

Pretty, easy to install like most doorbell buttons. However, the button kept falling out and eventually the little bulb came out and the connection was lost so it doesn't light anymore. I didn't want to hassle with the return so I just left alone. Not important for me to have the button lit at night.

Hard to find a combination of modern (ie: lit button) with a vintage look. This does them both perfectly. No need to run any more than 2 wires to it either with the matching Heath Wired Door Chime. They have a great system, and one of the only ones that comes with a BeechWood cover you can stain to match.

Firstly, the finish is more of a brushed nickel than anything close to antique copper. Nothing like what I ordered. Second, after I decided to keep it because its too much trouble to return, the button assembly fell apart when connecting the wires. By the way, Im a licensed electrician. I glued that together. Typical piece of crap from a vendor who doesnt care.

I like the minimalist design. The light is bright. Big improvement over the c. 1945 doorbell it replaced.
