The tips of these clamp pliers need to be ground down so they actually grab the clamps.

Stiff at first but frees up more if u just open n close them a few times but overall a good product

These pliers did not work as expected. I was not able to apply enough force to close my cv clamp. Slipped off once and cut the end of my finger pretty badly. There are alternatives that have a screw mechanism that work better and keep you fingers out of harms way
