Not only was this a replacement, but it was an exact replacement! Perfectly simple installation, very solid latch, able to open from inside as well as outside. The black finish complements our fence, and we love that the gate can be locked! Came super fast. Very pleased!

I purchased this product to replace another much more expensive gate lock that failed. I installed the latch on a right-hand gate opening which required switching the latch to the other side of the latch plate (that was very easy to do). I installed this in final fencing using previously exiting vinyl screws. It works well and I consider this a great purchase.

It was advertised for wood but the wood screws were all I needed. Thought I would need to pick up different screws to secure the latch. Very secure latch. 5 stars.

I installed this on my shed door. It was easy to install. It is a simple mechanism and makes it easy to lock the shed on the outside. I like that you can still get out from the inside if the door shuts on you. The only thing I would knock on it was that some of the paint is already rubbing off on the contact points. Other than that, it was well worth the money.

I needed another gate latch to stop my big dog from pushing the bottom of the gate allowing my puppy to make a break to a grand neighborhood adventure. Good value and solid.
