very poorly built. started the first hole and the 2 small welds that hold the handle to the shaft both broke. Don't waste the money.

Well-made and fine if you only want to dig about 3 feet deep. However, I want a longer shaft to dig deeper, and all the shaft extensions I find on Amazon are the wrong diameter. This product has a 25mm diameter shaft and I could only find extensions for a 20mm diameter shaft. Also, all the products in this category make it difficult (or impossible) to determine the shaft diameter. The shaft length is readily specified, but the diameter is well hidden or non-existent. Rufus, the A.I. helper, also usually can't find shaft diameter or compatibility.

This made working in the yard much easier. For the money it worked very well and cut the time in less than half when I needed to plant something or dig a hole for different projects. Glad I found it.
