I have a W2210 attic ladder from the 1990’s. These were a direct replacement. I drilled out the rivets securing the original arms, prayed out the nail in the 4th hole and bolted these in place with the lag screws provided. It was quick and easy.

Head lag bolt snapped. This was a replacement part. I had pre-drilled holes. Used a Dewalt impact driver. Set the bolt. Loosened it to address the hinge alignment. The bolt snapped as I tightened it. Fortunately three remaining holes were sufficient to secure the hinge. I reused the lag bolt from the old hinge. By the way, my hinge like many was fastened into the wood frame with RIVETS. I had to drill them out. Looking online it appears to be a common practice for a part that does not last forever.
