TOUGHER Ladder Levelers are designed to fit all Type II, I and IA extension ladders up to 32ft with a maximum weight capacity of 500LBs. TOUGHER Ladder Levelers are made of high-quality alloy steel, which is firm and durable.
TOUGHER Ladder Levelers are removable and replaceable, and are made of natural rubber, which increases the friction between the ladder and the ground to the greatest extent, making it anti-skid and wear-resistant.
TOUGHER Ladder Levelers have upgraded the pole to be all the way threaded, which maximizes friction in the locking system and therefore adds way more safety margins than old versions.
Simply press down the locking plate then move the pole up or down. Through adjustment, the ladder levelers can be more stable and safer, essential for working safely on uneven surfaces.
Position the bracket to the side of the ladder leg and make sure the bracket covers the first rung from the side. Drill through the ladder legs and attach bolts.
TOUGHER Ladder Levelers have a maximum working load of 500LBs/220kg, which allows you to carry as many tools as needed.
Compatible with all Type II, I, and IA extension ladders up to 32Ft. The total length of TOUGHER Ladder Levelers is 20 inches with a maximum extension of 10.5 inches.
The ladder leveler only weighs 3Lbs per piece. Easy to store and carry.

I bought a 20' extension ladder for use on uneven ground and stairways. These levelers worked so well and are very stable. The keep me safe. I have used them in inclines and stairs and it makes the ladder level. They are very easy to install. You may need to add a few washers, as spacers, to the screws depending on the brand of ladder you have. I have a Werner.

I was very impressed with the quality of this product--the design is well thought out and easy to use. As can be seen in the photo, it is ideal for uneven terrain, and might even work on stairs if the tread width is sufficient. The parts are very sturdy, as they should be for safe use on an extension ladder. The cam-type locking plate makes adjustment very straightforward.I would have given this five stars if the installation had been easier. My ladder rails are channels (as opposed to tubes), so the screws were too long and had to be cut off to eliminate the potential for cuts. The mounting holes were so close to the pole that getting tools (and especially sockets) in to make for a quick install was difficult. A couple of minor design/packaging corrections would make this set a real winner: 1) Widen the bracket slightly so that the mounting holes are clear of the pole, and 2) Provide a second set of shorter screws for applications where the ladder rails are channels, not tubes. The supplied wrenches were useful but most DIYers would have better suited tools.

When I put up my Christmas decorations, I move the ladder all over the property. My land has a lot of uneven areas. I was using a wedge trig under the ladder leg which was not that convenient. This leveler works great - the leveler designed for Little Giant is much more expensive and this works even better anyhow.

This was fairly easy to assemble to my old aluminum ladder and it was a decent value but it just needs more.; it needs more wall thickness on the tubing. The female threads for the screw in levelling pads are merely ripples inside the tube. With more wall thickness the thread depth could be correct. Skip the included teflon tape and use a good grade of anerobic thread locker. It needs better hardware and twice as many washers if you need to level the unit over the lower rung protrusion too.The design seems pretty good and the price is one of the lowest but just a cursory look and you'll see where the money was saved pretty quickly.I feel pretty good that this will support me just fine but some better quality hardware and some more robust tubing would inspire a great deal more confidence.

Bought the product specifically to use on stairs. Mounted on my extension ladder. The adjusters have to mount to the outside of the ladder. Which makes the finished product too wide to use on adjacent stairs, and too short to use skipping a stair. And of course I can't return them because the window has closed. I have no idea how well they work in other situations, but they're hot garbage for stairs.
