Your cart is empty.40 Gauge Reverse (orange) - for fluffing the surface pulling wool outward. The 36 Gauge Star (cream) Medium-has 2 barbs a side - faster starting and working. The 38 Gauge Star (black) medium - has 2 barbs a side - Faster working and shaping. The 38 Gauge Twisted needle (Purple) Medium - has 2 barbs a side - even felting and smoothing. The 40 Gauge Twisted needle (light blue) - has 2 barbs a side - even felting, smoothing. Packed in a protective reusable tube. Felting needles are brittle, and are therefore easily broken. To reduce breakages use the needle in a straight in, straight out motion. The needle is best not bent, wiggled or put under a lot of pressure. As a general rule if the needle will not enter a surface with ease do not force it.

I’m fairly new to needle felting and am experimenting with different needles. I am especially pleased with the effect the reverse needle provides on muzzles and paws by pulling out strands of darker core onto a lighter background. The color coded handles are very helpful. The needles are great, and not only is the container marked with the size, but the needles themselves are color coded so if you are working with several, you just look at the top and know what size it is. Clean, well made. Very good needles for felting. Will definitely order again when needed
