The spool fell apart while spooling but luckily it didn't tangle too bad. It took less than 15 seconds to undo. This line has been surprisingly smooth to cast! I haven't had any issues fishing all techniques with this.

I put 5 stars so this review wouldn't get buried. If your favorite thing in the whole wide world is untangling stuff, this is THE line to buy. I'm actually impressed by how tangled it is, the "spool" is 2 piece, at no point was the line wound around it, it's a jumble, mashed around it then the other side put on with a couple twist ties to tame it enough to stuff in a box. I thought I had seen some tangles in my years but this birdsnest of horror wears the crown. The line is fine, loops are solid, color is accurate....but the mess you have to undo to make it usable....I'd charge someone 200 bucks if they asked me to do this for them. It's that bad.

Hercules line is fine, gets the job done. Bought many size weights/colors. Now for the spool worst in the industry. Comes apart while loading reals, leaving a mess to untangle for an hour our two. Warning buyer be warned âš ï¸
