I tried a couple of the battery digital calipers, and both stopped showing reading in a short time, even with new batteries installed. This is a real tool. Money well spent.

In my environment I go through several of these a year. Not the highest quality but the accuracy is good

I liked the material, it always felt comfortable to use and was pretty accurate. It was also super easy to read. I used it for my machine shop class and worked well enough to get me by.

it is so junk do not waste your money on it. You will be better off going to Harbor freight and getting one.

I needed a set a calipers for home use. This caliper is no Starrett but alas, I didn't pay a Starrett price. They work ok - the slide is a little rough. I wouldn't recommend for long term/daily use.

Been using these cheap calipers for years. The quality has always been decent. This pair was disappointing. Jaws are misaligned and not ground properly. Depth gauge is bowed causing it to feel rough opening and closing; not smooth. Overall finish is rough, almost abrasive. Not too impressed.
