Nice base for the money but had a hard time getting one. Seems they are hot sellers. It does hold as good as the $100 brand as many others have reported so I'm happy.

i had to slightly modify this to fit my dial indicator i already had. That wasn't hard to do. I always needed a holder and have had a dial indicator for years but didn't have any way of making it steady. This was a good purchase for me. It came quickly and was as advertised.

Real nice stand for the money, but I couldn't give it 5 stars. There is a little lateral movement in the mounting head/fine adjustment mechanism. It will do just fine for engine building though.

Held up to being crashed into by a welding track head twice. Still using it.

The main arm was disconnected from the base as received. Tried several times to re-insert but it would not stay connected when the knob was tightened. Appears the snap ring on the main arm is not large enough to secure it in the base swivel collar. Poor quality. You get what you pay for. Would not recommend.
