After trying an atomic movement to replace my failed 20-yr-old SkyScan clock's movement and those simply not working, I decided to just get a manual-set movement. Found this one with the right length shaft and hands and it's just perfect. It's keeping perfect time and is built much better than those others at just under half the price. Way better packaging as well, resembling retail packaging. Definitely recommended.

We have an old wooden clock that we purchased from a yard sale. The clock mechanism with battery was not working, so we ordered a new on. It took a couple of minutes to remove the old parts, and install the new ones. We put a battery in it, and now it works perfectly. It looks great, and keeps time perfectly.

The instructions that come with it are different than the instructional video but they are both wrong! I just had to use my logic on how to put it together but my clock now works!

Clock mechanism was easy to install, was working fine for a week or so then it slowly started to lose time. One month after installation and purchase the clock was 32 minute slow. Battery was checked and it was still fresh with a lot of power. Very disappointed with it.

We found a huge clock face at a garage sale one day. It was just a white 20 inch wood circle really, with a hole in the middle and clock numbers painted on the outside, but it was nicely painted and designed so we decided to try and find a "clock kit" that we could install and turn this into a functioning clock. It was hard to find a clock kit with hands large enough to fit our clock face but I finally came across this one. Was disappointed it didn't have second hands but as there were no other options we decided to go for it. It arrived in standard Amazon time and we proceeded to fit it on our clock face.One thing we discovered was the hands are so large they tend to interfere with each other. We had to (carefully) bend the minute hand out a little bit so it wouldn't snag the hour hand. It's been nearly three months and the clock has continued to run on the single AA battery. It keeps up with the other clocks in our house (meaning it hasn't lost or gained any time inaccurately). I'm well satisfied with my purchase and I would buy again. Thanks!
