This is the third time I have ordered this tester. My first two orders came from different suppliers and ended up.being non working junk. When I seen it listed the third time as the Tester ll model I gave it one more try. If it could do what it claimed it could turn out to be a great product. Well the third time was the charm. It performed as described and I was able to successfully complete all of the tests I performed.. The surprise of the deal was the included led magnifying lens. It's a great Tool with an awesome case included. I would highly recommend this purchase and rate it 5 STARS

I like this tester. It is light weight and easy to use. The pointer is small enough to fit in the smallest of stones. It quickly tells you the rating of your stones. It beeps and the sound is good, not too loud. The lights light up to tell you the number level the stones test at. It is battery operated and they are easy to install. The tester is small enough to store away easily.I highly recommend this tester. I tested all my stones and am very pleased with it.

The instructions was very hard to understand. I had to look up another dimomd testers instructions and hoped they were close enough to the ones I purchased. They read accurately on one but the majority they were wrong. Unless I'm doing it all wrong ( I might be) I wouldn't recommend them if you don't know what you're doing or have some knowledge about the product.

Loved the lighted magnifier! Would buy it again but separately. You just have to be careful about not shining it in your eyes because it is very bright. The liquid testers seem like they will be OK to use but I have not tried them yet. The diamond tester, however, left much to be desired. The instructions were complicated for beginners and could have been clearer about calibrating. (Most beginners or hobbyists have no idea how to tell the size difference between a .06ct and a .05ct and thus have no idea how to correctly set the tester.) The worst thing though was I felt like I could not trust the tester because it was inconsistent. I would test a stone and get one reading one time and a different reading for the same stone the next time I tested it. The tester did sound off and light up correctly on what I knew to be a diamond though. So if you wanted the tester for nothing else but for testing diamonds, then the tester might be useful. But since the readings are not consistent when testing other stones, I do question whether it always would be accurate when testing diamonds.

Terrible! It constantly beeps unless it's off or forced all the way near off, doesn't allow for ANY setting, goes from 0 to fully LIT & beeping, nothing in between no 4,5, 6, etc... Less than an 1/8 of a turn of the dial...Missed return window very angry I will have to purchase another somewhere else! Very upset about this

I had ordered a different a while back and didn't know it had to warm up before using it. Once the other ked lights up it's ready to use and works fine

Magnifier works well however the tester is garbage. Following the instructions for use, tested on my engagement ring, "it worked" however upon going to a professional, we looked like absolute idiots. Thanks a lot
