I have an expensive Dspiae vises and do no want to damage them grinding or sanding parts . These are very small, but allow me to confidently use my grinding pen or sand without fear of damage to my vise or my fingers. PAID FOR ITSELF ON FIRST PROJECT AND NOT INJURIES with grinding a 7mm metal piece/part!

Dont pay the hobby tax! I've seen similar vises going for 2-3x the cost marketed for "hobbies"- This jewelry vise is identical at a fraction of the cost. The granular knob really helps dial in sensitivity with fragile parts and the included rubber grips avoid damaging paint jobs. A perfect fit for Gunpla or other scale models.

The table-top bench vice is good quality and has sufficient reach to work on a wide range of table thicknesses. The mini-vice is really nicely made. The pins are high quality and have plastic covers to avoid marking the work-piece. Really a nice combo.

I was hoping that this could serve as a vice for mounting 7 mm trillion gemstones, but it appears that the minimum distance is 10 mm. It would have been really helpful if that had been listed like the maximum distance. Also, like most Amazon products these days, this feels very cheap. The pins don't sit snuggly in their recession, and the rubber caps are also loose. It definitely feels like this was made to have parts lost within 24 hours.

I ordered this "High Precision Mini Vise with Bench Vise" from CNRAQR for those times when I need a small pin vise. The mini-vise is CNC machined with two linear shafts, a spring-loaded linear thumbscrew, and 5 holes allowing different placements for the vise's 4 steel pins. There's a little sideways play on the jows but well within reason. It comes with a small plastic box that's barely large enough to fit the vise and pins.The included bench vise is very different. It's a cheap cast metal affair designed to fit up to a 1.5" benchtop. The jaws are smooth and painted with tons of play, and have just enough range of motion to fit the included mini-vise.The mini-vise is good but I wish I'd not bothered with the bench vise since it won't fit anywhere I might want to use it. That said I may still find a use for it one day.
