My old (2004) Honda EXCELL XR2600 stopped working but the Honda engine has always worked fine. I checked for repairs on Youtube and found this pump as solution. Everything fit easily, the key provided was just what I needed and the quick connect also threaded in without a problem. Good clear instructions came along, great to have. I have used it twice since for a couple of hours and it sprays better than the original pump that came on the powerwasher. Definitely recommend

Brought my Excell 2600 Honda pressure washer back to life. Recently my pressure washer had been losing pressure intermittently during use and I knew the pump was going out. I contemplated getting a new pressure washer with a higher pressure rating but my Honda engine is in great condition and only needed a pump. Found this pump here on Amazon as a replacement and since the majority of the reviews were good I figured I give it a shot. Pump was easy to install had it swapped out in less than 30 minutes. I reused the old bolts to be sure they were the correct thread pitch. Saw a review where the reviewer was unaware that the fitting on the engine shaft had to be removed, if you have an Excell washer this is removed and the included shaft key is used to connect the engine shaft and pump together. My washer was running a bit rough from sitting for awhile and had stalled a few times, a simple carb cleaning stopped the stalling and this new pump has brought her back to life. Works great and has plenty of pressure. The pressure was a bit weaker than my last pump out of the box, but a quarter turn to the unloader valve made a huge difference. You need a 10mm and a 17mm wrench to adjust the unloader, marking the unloader and the pump with a permanent marker will help you visualize the turn. This turned out to be a very affordable repair.

New pump works better than the oem pump. Easy to install. Good instructions included in box. Took 15 mins to remove old pump and install new pump.

I installed this on my Excel 2600 pressure washer which has a 5 hp Honda engine. Absolutely simple installation, including pressure adjustment.I would highly recommend this replacement pump versus buying a new pressure washer once the oil pumps failBut like all Chinese products this has a horrible Manual. For instance, it doesn’t even mention which is up in, which is down on the mounting which is critical. I had to search through some photographs on the site here to verify.It also does not talk about replacing the fitting for the pressure washer hose, which is necessaryOh, and all I highly recommend this pump because it’s much quieter than the original pump I had and small and relatively simple. The importance of this pump would do themselves a tremendous service by spending a couple days working on the Manual.I did try the online manual and it is no better. So same role applies spend some time on that.

Replaced the pump on my 5hp Honda Excell pressure washer last week. Upon firing up, it had no pressure other than the water supplied pressure. Upon investigation, I found that the spline between the motor & pump had slipped out during assembly. I reassembled everything carefully making sure the spline had engaged & voila, everything now works great!

I bought this pump hoping that I could resurrect my Honda Excel 2500 pressure washer. The old pump was shot, but the Honda engine is bulletproof. So, I took a chance after viewing some excellent videos on YouTube regarding replacing the pump. The only difficult part of the project was removing the gear from the engine driveshaft. Just use a good pry bar with some alternating pressure on each side of the driveshaft. A little PB Blaster is good, too.The pump mounts with only 4 bolts and a shaft key (included). Be sure to use some anti-seize compound on the key, driveshaft and bolts. I got everything tightened (do not over tighten as the engine block is aluminum and very soft) and then hooked up the garden hose. Fired up the engine and WOW! This pump is AWESOME! Much more powerful than the original pump which was rated at 2500 psi. I would say that this pump is cranking out 3000 to 3500 psi! Sure beats spending $400+ for a new pressure washer.Do not hesitate to buy this pump if your old Honda PW is now pooped out. This pump is a beast and you will love it. If you are not mechanically inclined, not to worry. Watch the YouTube videos on the Honda Excel pressure washer repair as they are great, however, the pump company listened to the reviewers as the driveshaft key and the PW hose Quick Connect are now included with the pump. All you have to do is remove the old pump and install the new pump. Four bolts out, and an Allen wrench to remove the driveshaft gear screw, and four bolts in is all the work required. Easy as pie!
