Tap & Dies are decent quality, the holders leave a little to be desired. Overall, meets my expectations for light home utility uses. Would recommend.

I've only tapped one hole in brass so far so not much of a test yet. not impressed with the tap handle, so used a starret handle instead.

It works for my application. The basic set up works , but make sure your chuck screw is tight before proceeding with the cut.

Haven't used yet, but set looks of good quality, nice case, however, the proof's in the pudding, and I can't account further, since I've not used any.

You get what you pay for... these are cheap, and low quality. I bought these for specific sizes of taps and dies for chasing dirty threads. Cheaper than buying individual sizes, and I did not need something ultra-strong. Good thing I didn't try to actually cut threads... while chasing threads on some grade 5 bolts of various sizes, all the dies except one ended up chipping. I was still able to finish the job, since I was just cleaning threadlocker off the bolts.The taps work ok, again for light thread chasing. There is no T-handle for the taps though, which is a disappointment. The included straight handle is functional, but requires a lot of clearance, so I couldn't use it.I would not buy these again if I had known how bad they are.

I needed to retap some poorly cut threads on a fabrication made in China. Poor workmanship. Work perfectly for that purpose at a good price.

This kit had the smallest M3 tap that I needed to complete my 1957 Vespa restoration. Price was great as I bought it for the small tap.

For the price this set is extremely good value. Similar 'professional' sets cost 3-5 times more. Used it already to re-thread a cross-threaded (damaged) bolt hole on a Ford Focus and it worked brilliantly. Taps are well made, durable (hardened) and accurate. Haven't had the need to use the dies yet - other than to check the bolt to select the right tap for the Focus but they appear just as good. At this price it's a great buy.

Haven’t used this product yet as I bought it for future use, taps & dies feels good although case feels poor but this doesn’t bother me because tools will be stored in my cellar & used in my workshop, don’t think I would be happy carrying this item in back of van because taps & dies will be loose in case when I open it due to movement of van, saying that I happy with purchase

I hope it was just a single tap that eas faulty. I moved up 1 size and after re drilling to the next tap size I eventually got there with a little effort.
