Took all the "guts" and replaced everything in a worn zone valve - works perfectly now! Glad to find an actual Honeywell valve! It was quick and simple.

Yeah, it is great and it works, but I don't need the valve body (plumbing portion of it) the motor comes attached to. In fact, I had to disassemble it, and save the body for probably never. Why not sell just the electric component, which, in my experience, burns our much more frequently than the solid metal tube? Or maybe I did not search hard enough, and one can in fact buy just the motor? Now I'll never know...

I have been upgrading to these as they fail because the terminal ends are easier to work with when replacing. No more repining my connection plugs.Been working on this boiler for 30+ years and upgrading when possible. Zone valves used to burn out the motors until I upgraded to a larger capacity transformer. I have three zones and since have not burned out a motor. End switches fail or motors mechanically stick on , relay points on the boiler need cleaned or replaced occasionally. So replace a zone valve every ten years or so is no problem. And I live in Alaska so heat is working constantly. Boiler is wired up for cold boiler. So turns off when no end switches are activated. Very glad they make these f series upgrades. Can’t beat this product or price. I just replace the heads and save the valve body for future upgrades like a new boiler. I will still use these valves no matter what boiler I install.

I cannot help but wonder why "brick and mortar" stores are amazed when they lose business to Amazon. This same valve was over $300 at a local plumbing supply. The part itself is a perfect match to the one I needed to replace. Wiring terminals were all solid and I was able to replace the bad valve in about 5 minutes. The operation of this valve is much quieter than the others in my system. I'm not sure if that is a measure of improvements made to the part, or the age of my other valves.I did not use the sweat-fitting as my system's existing mechanical valve portion was fine. The old electrical valve burned out after 10 years. Though it did get wet, by the looks of things, so I hope for longer life out of the new valve.I cannot compare this to other valves made by other companies, I have no experience with them. However, we have 4 of this model in our house and we have only ever had one fail.I do, however, recommend this as a replacement part if you have the same valve in use now.

Needed the unit without the copper pipe union. Bought both, used one without union. If you have one go bad (stuck open or closed), remember to replace all (one for each zone). Moving parts wear out you know?

This was a perfect replacement valve for the one that failed in my house. I used the parts from a second valve to repair another valve that I did not want to swap the body on.
