This HOOBRO wooden chest had clear instructions and was easy to assemble. I put it together on my own and it took about 30 to 40 minutes. I use it in our living room for couch blankets and some jigsaw puzzle boxes. It holds quite a lot, is nice looking and matches the rest of our furniture. I'm really impressed with the quality and price. I'd definitely recommend.

Cute! I have an elevated bed and needed something about half the bed height for the little dog to jump onto and then up to the bed. This trunk serves the purpose plus gives storage for me. The size is just right in both height and length so I have room to get in/ out of bed without hurting myself and he has room to jump up without hurting his little bones. The trunk has ample storage area. All the parts needed are included (it is full assembly required). The assembly is super easy and took about 20 minutes. Instructions are pictures (no words) but the pictures and assembly are very simple. However, do yourself a favor (unless you have the hand strength of Thor) and use an electric screwdriver to install the lid hinges and support bracket. The screws are exceedingly painful to install just by hand screwdriver (or the tiny 2 in 1 hex/phillips key they provide. This is not a super-duper heavy duty solid wood product. The inset panels are the thinnest of wood-like product and the frame pieces are the equivalent of 1x2 particle board wrapped in wood colored vinyl. The lid and overall product are sturdy though. Overall, for storage, rustic looks, and light use (such as a small dog jumping onto the bed booster) it’s amazing. As an item for regular daily use (such as a toy box for a rambunctious child) or for sitting on by anyone of any weight, I wouldn’t suggest using this.

TOO CUTE! i could rip & rave about this! it was almost dummy proof on putting it together & holds toys + my three year old with ease.. i even sat on it to test it & it didn’t budge 😂

Although easy to assemble, it does require some elbow grease. The Alan wrench screws weren’t my favorite and you really need to get some strength involved sometimes. I would hate to think of people with arthritis that have to deal with these screws. I was glad when I could use my drill for the hardware pieces. I really had no issues with the instructions. I did find that the screw holes for the hinges didn’t always match up 100%. I purchased two of these and found it odd that one package contained silver small hardware screws and the other had bronze hardware screws. Just odd but didn’t make a huge difference for me. The chest itself is sturdy enough to store my toddlers toys in the living room and looks nicer than scattered across the room. It’s the perfect height for her and she can easily open it up and grab her toys. If you’re looking for a sturdy option at an affordable price then this is it.

Lots of storage and is built well. Was easy to assemble and fits right into my space. There is no lock on it but it stays shut pretty well. It's wood so it has some weight to it.

Worth the money, highly recommend. very sturdy, easy to clean, has a latch that helps it not close on my toddlers head & lid isn’t too heavy my toddler can open it right up! so many toys for in this for us!

It looks great but a pain in the neck to assemble. I literally had to take every piece apart and turn it upside down, back to front or left to right to get it all to fit together. Also, the screw don’t always go in all the way making it look not-great and could lead to clothes or fingers getting caught on it
