I expected these steps to have a little bit of a wobble, like most I've come across. I was pleasantly surprised by how solid the construction is. I feel like I could safely climb up and down these steps even if I was rushing somewhere. The instructions could be a bit more clear, but assembly was easy and sufficiently straight forward. I highly recommend this product.

So I was hesitant at making a purchase without any reviews especially one that is over $100. But what drew me to the purchase was the grippy tread on the steps. I thought the grippy tread would last longer than the others that had grip tape. So I took the bold leap and am pleasantly surprised by the item. When I opened the box the yellow and black tape already was put on the steps..which seemed a bit odd since it was coming up from the packaging, but I remained positive. It comes with directions... the directions see small so I did have to use my old lady magnifying glass...no biggie. It comes with the tools u need so it is a slow process with their basic tools... however, twenty minutes into the build my old brain decided to use my ratchet tools and that sped up the build significantly.Overall it feels sturdy and the material feels strong. I am happy with the purchase and the original price had a discount so sometimes you can't pass up a deal. I do strongly recommend this product!

Bought this for my travel trailer. The steps were fairly easy to assemble, took me about 2 hours (I only have one arm). I was surprised about the quality of the kit since it’s manufactured in China.. read the instructions ! .. these steps are a heavy steel and total weight right at 50 pounds assembled. Very happy with this purchase.

Spent 8 hours putting this together. You need two people at least. At the end you'll find you have 10 extra holes and no more screws. There are 3 sizes of screws with no instructions on which goes where so you spend a lot of time redoing, and redoing and redoing.....There is no instruction for the last 3 pieces. Just a small drawing that makes no sense. All 5 drawings are small and incomplete. Not level when "completed". So it's rickety.Moves but not portable. Once it's together it's not collapsible. Don't know where you'd put it in your RV when traveling as it pretty big. Not sure it would fit through the door.

Overall they are sturdy and do not wobble, which is paramount. They are fine as far as appearance goes but they are not attractive. They were a pain to assemble and do not fold easily. We are using them for an outdoor building on the farm and they serve the purpose for temporary stationary stairs but I would not want to be moving and folding these all the time.
