I needed a "doorbell" 24v transformer to power a couple of water valves. They are inside so being waterproof was not an issue. This transformer with the mounting plate was perfect for the project. Easy to install after turning power off if you are comfortable working with electrical devices. The only thing I added to the 24v side was a fuse just in case.

I purchased and installed the Transformer, and it works perfectly. The one I got is exactly as described and there were no problems.

Seems to work and provide the correct voltage. A little noisy until it tapped the bottom of it. My eufy hardwired doorbell camera chime works as well as the original doorbell now. The original didn't work when I installed the eufy doorbell camera, it does now after installing the transformer. Hopefully I don't have to tap it again to stop buzzing. If it didn't buzz I would have given it a 5 star.

I replaced my faulty hvac transformer with this and it worked like a champ. The photos and answered questions in the listing for wire connections were more helpful than the printed instructions. Regardless, it was straightforward and simple. A quick double check on my wiring after installing and then my HVAC was back on business in under an hour of delivery.

Worked great!Replaced a furnace transformer. Had to clip wires to add extensions but that’s not a negative, just know since generic and NO instructions or paperwork at all.

Wanted this for only my ring doorbell... I took out my old smaller transformer with similar ratings but less output current and stuck this one in and it got really hot and melted the wires on my doorbell and almost started a fire and then stopped outputting any power. Stuck my old transformer back in and still using the old one... not sure at all what happened, but pretty scary.

Upgraded the builder grade transformer for the doorbell with this one 16VAC 30VA. You will need to do this if you install a EUFY Video Doorbell. Easy to install even if you are a beginner. The transformer will be located on a metal junction box in your basement . Possibly on a light metal box or behind the door bell chime. Mine was attached to side of my electrical panel in the garage. Takes about 15 minutes to install. Test the doorbell before changing. Then locate the correct Circuit Breaker to kill the power to the transformer/doorbell. Swap it out and then test the doorbell again. Note that even if you are not installing a Video Doorbell, this transformer should boost the chime volume since it is 30Volt Amps (Watts) as opposed to builder grade which is usually only 10 VA. Hope this helps you out!
