Our 1-inch and 2-inch Cast Iron Weight Plates feature both pound and kilogram signage for easy identification and can be used with or without barbells. Sizes range from 2.5 lb to 45 lb. You can complete multiple types of training that include:

  • Strength training (Weightlifting tools can include - barbell, weight plates, and dumbbells; helps with functional strength)
  • Circuit training (Example - 3 - 5 exercises performed in rotation; great for martial arts and other combat sports)
  • Station to station (3 - 5 sets of repetitions per exercise)

These weight plates allows you to perform exercises to help increase muscularity and overall fitness of your entire body. This is what we like to call your "Core 4", which includes:

Many competitors have released 1-inch and 2-inch Cast Iron Weight Plates for home and garage gym set ups with without handles or a robust finish to help mitigate rusting or corrosion. We responded by including with a robust layer of enamel that helps mitigate the potential for rust or scratching and they include ergonomic, multi-grip handles for plate only warmup or a main workout. This will help improve your grip strength, especially if you decide to lift heavy weight as time progresses. Examples of solo plate exercises:

If you are going to use a barbell for your workouts, we offer plates that fit onto standard 1” barbells and 2” Olympic style barbells. You will need 1-inch and 2-inch barbell collars to secure the weights.

  • Landmine Press

NOTE - We highly recommend using these on a protected surface so that you can avoid any damage to your floor or plates. These plates may have some cosmetic issues after using but it will not affect the integrity of the product.

50lbs of weight for 50 dollars is hard to come by in person let alone online with free shipping. I half expected these to be bad quality or arrive late. They're better than the name brand weights I bought at dicks, the same size, fit my Barbell better with no wiggle, feel and look good and showed up in less than 3 days even without having Amazon prime. I will definitely be buying from this company again.

Amidst all this COVID mayhem, it's been very hard to locate iron plates (and dumbbells). I've been checking local fitness suppliers weekly for months and they have nothing in stock. They keep telling me "we expect them sometime next month". That began in March 2020 and it's now it's nearly December 2020.I went online months ago searching for plates and the iron plate prices have been astonishing, even for used stuff on eBay. Plates used to be about $1.50 a pound and I've seen plate prices over $5 a pound for the brand name iron. So when I saw these plates, I took a chance and ordered them. I wasn't sure what level quality they would be and when one of the plates arrived today, I was pleasantly surprised.Pro:-Nice fit and finish-The plate was exactly 25 pounds - I put it on my shipping scale (see photo). With generic plates, you never know about the weight accuracy but mine was perfect-Easier to grab versus solid round plates-$2 a pound is reasonable given the circumstances-Quick free shipping - the second plate is due in a couple of days - split shipment. No matter, as long as the quality is good I can happily wait another 2 days for the second plate after searching for them for 8-9 monthsCon:-None that I can see.I've been a gym rat for 50+ years and it's always been at a membership gym, never had much of my own equipment but COVID has changed that. While I prefer a real gym with my lifting buddies, we have to make concessions these days so I've finally accumulated enough gear for a "COVID home gym".Gyms in NY where I am located had been closed from March - July. They closed last week, probably for months again so a backup plan is required. Even after COVID clears up, hopefully in another 6+ months or so, I'll still have my backup gear for when the weather is bad or I don't have time for a gym run.Based on what I've seen and measured with these particular plates, I highly recommend them. Excellent weights look new , how ever I painted mine to give my area more light . Also if you have any problems with the shipment? It’s not the *deal* I found out the hard way , when I checked the package it said it was shipped , I found out that some United States post office dont like to pick up packages 45 pounds or more ,so I had to go to post office , driver also said he delivered package but did not / I had to go to post office, to pick up weight ,He or she just left package at the post office when I went to the post office. The guy working at post offices told me with some packages are too heavy, Sometimes the driver leaves them. So one of them took 3 weeks when dealer sent out the 2 at the same time . I think they separately ship them because maybe it’s cheaper also easier on drivers . I also wished I ordered the weight with the 2” inch hole to be equivalent with the gym I go to .Because the Olympic bar is 25 pounds more than my bar so I have to add more weights to keep up😞, so be careful at the gym that Olympic bar 25 or more pounds makes a big different . 45 pound weights are excellent great buy love them

I've had problems with cast iron weights rusting. This has a durable painted finish, no sharp edges.

I bought two of 10, 25, and 45 lb plates. I like the handles and width of these, but the 45 is a little smaller diameter than regular 45 plates. I bought them new for the 10 and 25 and used for the 45. The 10 arrived together, but the others shipped in separate boxes and arrived on different days. I weighed each plate individually. Both 10 lb plates weighed 9.9 lbs (great), one 25 plate weighed 24.2 and the other weighed 23.8 (good enough), one 45 plate weighed 44.8 (great) and the other weighed 43.0 (not good). Overall, I think the price and quality is pretty good and worth buying if you aren't competing and don't need to be precise. Buying used vs new didn't seem to be any different quality wise if you want to save a little. If you weigh your plates and are worried about small differences, then maybe pay more for stronger guarantees in accuracy.

They're weights. They serve their purpose. I would recommend you place a separate order for each, if buying more than one. I tried twice to order a pair, and both times the shipment was returned in transit due to damage. I guess they have trouble packing and shipping anything that heavy. I ended up having to place a separate order for each of the two I purchased, to get them delivered. It's unfortunate, as I wouldn't have cared if they showed up wrapped in duct tape, they would have been fine, but I guess once the box got damaged too badly, they considered the product was likely too damaged to deliver.

These 25 pound plates are good quality, have built-in handles for quick plate change, are smooth to the touch and are reasonably priced which gives me a big bang for the buck. Would recommend.
