Had an older Hunter 8 zone controller that had 1 zone quit working. Tested valve- worked fine. Decided time for new controller. Purchased this 1 and installer myself (62 yr old female). Was very easy. I am mechanically inclined so I took the chance. Worked perfectly! I documented existing wiring and worked zone by zone. Very pleased! Sprinkler company quoted $500 for install of this exact model. Thanks but I will save the $400.

It works …only problem is when the power goes out it rolls back to 2013. Other than that it works good. thank you..

I had the same model for over 15 years and it was finally not working properly. Got the same model as a replacement and it had some minor cosmetic improvements and had much better insturctions. I was able to remove the old one and hook up the new one. Took a photo of the old connections and with the various colors on the cables being the same hooking up the new one was simple. Matching all the old setting was easy. Tested the stations and everything was perfect.

I changed over the same product. Well built. Easy to install. Works like a champ. Does not work with app and I am fine with that.

Since this was a replacement for an almost identical older model, I just labeled all my wires and swapped in the new one - quite easy. So far works as expected.
