About this item

  • Model #171910 - RX-2800 Rangefinder, TBR/W
  • True Ballistic Range / Wind (TBR/W) technology provides ballistically calculated ranges for extremely accurate shots at longer distances and steeper angles. It can also generate a hold point for a 10-mph wind at a 90-degree angle out to 800 yards. Offers a variety of reticles to choose from to fit any use or preference.
  • Selectable OLED displays use bright red characters and have adjustable brightness setting for best in class light transmission for use in low light conditions.
  • Bow mode uses the distance and the angle of a shot to calculate a ballistic equivalent to the target for more accurate uphill and downhill archery shots.
  • Last Target mode ensures the rangefinder reads the farthest target in the laser's path, so grasses and twigs don't interfere with an accurate range

Long range shooting will test your limits with every shot. The distances people are accurately shooting are staggering, which is where the RX-2800 TBR/W comes into play. With 1/2 yard accuracy out to 2,800 yards, 7x magnification, and an easy-to-read OLED display, this lightning quick rangefinder is guaranteed to stretch your skills. The new Alpha IQ ranging engine also makes ranging smaller targets quicker than ever before, while our True Ballistic Range (TBR) technology takes into account the angle of your shot and your gun's ballistics to put you dead on every time. Go farther faster with the new RX-2800 TBR/W.Optical Performance 7x Magnification 27mm objective lens. This range finder is the real deal. It will easily and accurately read out to 2000 yards on just about any surface as long as there is a small incline to bound the the signal back. I have other range finders in the same ball park price and this one is in a league of its own. The yardage response time is almost instant and very accurate. Very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend this range finder.

I can't tell you how much I use and love this range finder. I shoot out to 1700 yards and this will give me accurate readings out that far. Thermals can be a little problematic at Ultra Ranges, but this thing is worth double the money. Love the screen, Love the Accuracy, Love the size.

I replaced a 660 model with this and it outperformed my expectations! The glass is amazing. I plan on dumping my Vortex spotting scope for Leupold very soon!

I use this at JTAC ranch on the precision line. It will range the 2000 yard panels but some of the smaller stuff (1/3rd IPSC steel) around 600+ can get confusing. I dont know whether its beam divergence or the laser not being perfectly aligned with the reticle. The solution is to range around the target and try to get a better paint on the target from detucting the closer and farther readings. With a little work, this range finder is fantastic. Its not a Terrapin. Wish the beam was narrower and more accurately aligned with the reticel.

After having used several other brand rangefinders over the last few years & researching for the last month this Leupold rangefinder has risen to the top at this price point. For accuracy & quality clarity it’s even out performed some of the considerably more expensive competitors. If you’re looking into improving your long range game but don’t want to sacrifice your marriage you won’t do better than this.

I’ve never been disappointed with Leupold and after comparing this with this range finer with SIG and Vortex compatible models I bought the Leupold. I just returned from a bow hunt. They were accurate, quick, clear and gave me all the information I needed to make the accurate shot.
