Easy to use and holds charge for days. Haven’t had to recharge even after a four day hunting trip and use at the sight in range.

For what it costs it’s decent, works fine. It doesn’t hold a charge for long in use though is the only negative I can find.

I like to buy nice things for my husband, but I am very cost conscience. This was a great gift. Good quality and is nicer than any he had looked at previously.

Caught a few views of some ducks. Some woodpeckers, Blue Jays and even a Cardinal pair. I also used it for a Hockey Game i attended.So the rangefinder comes with a case that can be attached to your belt. backpack, golf bag or vest. It also comes with a handy lanyard and a clip, A usb-C charging cable, a microfiber cloth for cleaning and a tiny Allen key for maintenance. As well as a Instruction manual.The Range finder has a red information display on the screen. You can turn it on and switch modes with the two buttons on the top. You can see the general distance. The angle at which the ob ject is you are pointing at and even the speed of the object that you are pointing at. The speed mode is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes it catches it and sometimes it does not. I find that anything over 100 meters in distance is also a bit hit or miss. That seems to be the point in which accuracy takes a hit. Anything over 100 meters.That said I did manage to record the speed of a family of ducks travelling down the river at 28.3 kmph. I thought that was pretty cool.You can adjust the focus with the dial around the main eye lense. so it becomes crystal clear depending on the distance you are focussing on. The unit has a 750 mah battery that takes around a hour to recharge with the dedicated fast USB-C port. It seems to last quite long. The battery is primarily only responsible for the red laser display. So it lasts awhile. The display can be a bit hard to see on super sunny days but amazing on a overcast day. The focus is crystal clear as expected.I think this would be a great gadget for Hunters , Golfers, Nature lovers and Outdoorsman. Or just people who have trouble seeing far on any occasion. It is lightweight and easy to carry just about anywhere. It is my first ever range finder so I have nothing really to compare it to except my set of binoculars. In that regards it is as good as my old Bosch binoculars. Probably even better.Thanks.

This review is for the TAKENJOY HM7 Hunting RangefinderI took much joy in unwrapping this hunting rangefinder and even more joy when I determined how accurate it was.The operation is simple - only two buttons. Speed was a neat addition - in testing at my house, I was able to determine speed of cars in the neighborhood from the stop sign across the field. I was also able to determine range on several points around the soccer field and pond out back and all measurements seemed to be reasonable (I didn't get out a yardstick or one of the distance-wheels to compare precise measurements).I did take this out to the local range and it did not disappoint. The range has several target gongs set up at 50, 100, 200, 300 and 400 yards. My readings from far left bench (which is where the signs align on the left side of the range field) to the signs (not the gongs) were: 49.8/100.2/200.1/301.7 and 399.9 yards. All measurements were performed from a seated position with my arm resting on the shooting bench, with the end of the rangefinder at the far end of the bench (where I imagine they measured for the target signs.)The red LED display makes it easy to see on almost all backgrounds during the day, but especially out in the woods where a black display would definitely get lost with all the shadows, trees, bushes and other various foliage and "stuff" that appears in a rangefinder. When it gets to dim light or dark outside, the red is not visible at all. You need some ambient light to display your intended target in order to range it.I was not able to determine how to use the 6x magnification though. I read the instructions and there was no mention of how to zoom or adjust the magnification, only that the eyepiece twists to bring your intended target into a more clear picture. While clarity improved with the eyepiece twisting, the view did not magnify or zoom, so perhaps there is a 6x lens built in that provides "always on" zoom?Comes with a carrying strap, micro fibre cleaning cloth, a pouch that can attach to a belt, and a carabiner clip which can hang the unit from a lanyard, from an attachment point on your hunting bag, jacket, or rifle sling.Batteries are built in and the unit is recharged via an included USB-A to -C cable, so there is no need to carry all kinds of spare batteries (my goal is to eliminate all removable batteries from my hunting gadgets so I only need to carry a multi-end set of charging cables ad either a battery bank or AC adapter.) This helps achieve that goal.A great rangefinder with a good price. I have looked at several other electronic rangefinders and this one is a great price point for what you get. I recommend this rangefinder as it is at a very reasonable price, has pretty much all the basic features you will want when in the field, and appears to be very accurate. 5 stars of 5

This range finder is compact, light, and easy to use. I am able to see long distances with it. I'm still learning how to use all of the functions properly, but this seems like a quality device for your hunting needs. Might also be a great tool for bird watchers! Love that it's USB charged.
