Using them for west coast surf perch. They seem to do just fine and better then tying them myself.

I bought two sets of these; one pack of the 10lb, one pack of the 30lb. Each of the packages had line of similar diameter. I think the 10lb was actually 20-25lb test of you compare the lines in the pics. In any case, they'll do the job with some modifications. I cut the top end of each loop so I could just tie a cinch knot for the size 4 or 6 baitholder hooks I'm using. If you just try to thread that loop with the thick line, the smallest hook you can probably use would be size 2 or 1/0. Top swivels and sinker snap swivels are good, so should be no issue there. Overall, good leaders but wish they were true 10lb leaders with 3" loops.

I bought the 10lb, 20lb, and 30lb versions of these, this review deals only with the 10lb version.The quality of the line, hardware, and knots is better than you would expect for such an inexpensive set of leaders. Unfortunately these leaders have one major flaw; the loops are too small. I use gamakatsu octopus hooks and the largest size that you can hitch onto the loop is a #1, unfortunately when using hooks smaller than a #2 you cannot squeeze the line through the eye of the hook. Therefore you're limited to #2 or #1 hooks.
