This is an amazing heater, super easy to use and very accurate with its digital screen. This product unfortunately did stop working for me after a year of use. I did reach out to Hygger and after a couple of back-and-forth emails Hygger did send me a replacement. The customer support was amazing and they stand behind their product. I will continue to buy other Hygger heaters as I set up new aquariums.Thank you Hygger team

Super easy to use, got a year out of it before the temp sensor started acting up and the tank was reading way hotter than it actually was but controller did its job by shutting the power off to it and sounding the little alarm. For the price point I won’t complain with getting a year worth of use out of it.

6 months-in and it's still working great. I'm tired of losing fish to faulty heaters that fail 'on'. Hopefully, this one lasts and will fail 'off' like it's supposed to (if needed). Digital read out and ease of setting the temp is a game changer. I've been keeping fish nearly 50 years and I Highly recommend this heater. So much so that I bought 3 more.

This is a quality heater. I bought the 800 watt, as I have a 125 gallon tank, and that was right in the middle of the size range. It heated the water quickly, and stays consistent.Did have an issue with overheating, as it was set for 76 degrees, but it heated to 84 degrees before it was noticed. We turned off the filter and bubbler, as it is fairly loud in our family room. Noticed the over heating, and turned back on the filter and bubbler. That was within the 10% variance they advertise. But it did make me worried.

Got this to replace a 200 watt aqueon heater in my 55 gallon aquarium. After installing it took around 3 hours to get the water up to 76 degrees. The control unit is easy to read and intuitive. It kicks on around half a degree below the set temp. I have another thermometer on the opposite side of the tank and they tend to be roughly .40 degrees off from eachother which could be because i have the heater on the left side of the tank. Absolutely love it and will be using this brand and model for all my future tanks!

Bought this in September and it wasn’t functioning properly. The company said it had a 2 year warranty so just replaced it for free! Thank you!

Edit: I need to correct my original review due to user error (doh!). I had placed the heater horizontal behind a plant to hide its ugliness. Once I repositioned it vertically and placed it closer to the filter output, it worked accurately. Seems to be maintaining the temps reasonably well. But, it's still ugly so only 3 stars.I bought this February 4 2025 as a spare to have on hand as my current heaters were getting up there in age and I didn't want to get empty handed if one suddenly died. Today, one of my heaters did die so I plugged this one in to replace it. What a cheap piece of crap. It has no clue what the temperature really is in the aquarium. Besides that, it's f-ing ugly with it's big orange band around the unit and it's giant hygger logo on the front. I tried to hide it behind a plant but it's still super obvious. Sadly I just passed the 30-day mark so there's no returning it now. Wish me luck with their customer service dept.

Lo compre para un acuario marino mediano de 280 litros....chulada de calentador, hace correctamente su función al calentar el agua y medir la temperatura, lo único medio malo es que solo puedo configurar la temperatura en grados Fahrenheit y no tiene opción para grados Celsius que aquà en MX es lo que tenemos, pero como tengo un termómetro alterno para medir la temperatura y este si trae ambos pues me facilita la conversión y confirmar la correcta temperatura, su tamaño es un poco grande validen el espacio a donde ponerlo y su color anaranjado hace que resalte, pero si tienen opción de colocarlo en un filtro externo fuera de la pecera seria ideal. Lo recomiendo, a mi me gusto y funciono bastante bien....calienta el agua muy rápido.

Excellent produit. Fonctionne parfaitement. Chauffe rapidement. Je l’utilise dans un aquarium 90 gallons et il maintient parfaitement la température. Affichage facile à lire. Facile à utiliser et à ajuster. Identique à la description et aux photos. Vraiment très satisfait!
