- Our inlet box provides a tight joint way to connect your cable to the box. Insert and turn to lock,this twist and lock design are not easy to fall off due to external factors such as a strong wind, heavy rain, heavy snow.
- Use a cross screwdriver to easily open the socket panel for wiring.
- There are pre-punched sturdy screw holes ,you can use these holes to select suitable position to install the power outlet box
- Three knockouts located on the inlet in following- left, right, bottom. For securit and waterproofing purposes they are not penetrated and will need to be to drill through.
- Recommend use a Step Drill Bit or Hole Cutter to drill through them
- The power inlet box is a great choice for connecting your wires to a generator to provide power in an emergency power shortage.
- You can install the inlet box on outer walls, wooden houses or stakes as you required

Wires up easy. Installed inside so can’t comment on weatherproof aspect. Quality product for the price. Expect to pay double or triple buying the same thing at a chain hardware store.

Fit my need at a value price. High quality construction. A bit difficult to install the ground, had to take apart to get screwdriver in to complete install, not earth shattering by any means. Thanks for developing a great product and selling at a fair price.

Good option for a cheaper alternative. It has knockouts on bottom and each side with a rubber gasket to keep each one sealed if not using. Only wish there was a knockout on the back, but I made my own, but still worth the price

Well built, the only thing I didn’t like was knockouts are not 3/4 had to re engineer, which bugs the snott out of me! Come on you can do better!

The box itself is made of appropriate thickness of steel, and is well painted. The socket seems well built and comes with a cover. Fairly short mounting screws (about 5/8") are included inside the box.However there are two issues:1. There is no rear knockout for bringing the wiring in from the rear of the box. This can be easily remedied with an appropriately sized hole saw or knockout metal punch set.2. The corners of the box cover are not welded, which could allow water penetration into the interior during snow, ice or heavy rain/wind events. I will weld them closed and repaint the top before I install it. The outdoor boxes made by US manufacturers have welded corners, but cost probably 3 times as much as this one.I do like the fact that this outlet box is set up with the outlet socket at the bottom, which will prevent water from getting into the connection when a cable with a female plug is attached to it. It is recessed about a half inch so the connection will be well protected from the elements. It's a much better solution than the ones that are surface mounted on the front face of the box with a lift-up flapper covering the socket.

Decent box but no rear knockout if you want to pass connection through a wall. Easily remedied with a hole saw but would nice if a rear knockout was provided.
