I wear my Motorola walkie covertly and the original antenna was so long that it kept poking me under my arm. This antenna did the trick and makes it easy to conceal and is comfortable also. Transmission and reception seems to be the same as longer antenna. Working out well.

I do not believe this is OEM Motorola, but it seems to function identically. There isn't a "M" logo on it like the one I broke that I was replacing. This works very well and after several weeks of use I haven't had any issues. Great value!

Just received and installed antenna on radio. I live in a remote area of our County where my old antenna failed to work. This little antenna must pack a hefty punch. Fired up the radio and was able to transmit and receive instantly. Very impressed!

Not as sensitive (on Rx) as a half-wave, but if you've got way more signal available to listen to than what the radio needs, it works fine as a Rx-only radio (XTS2500 here.)Will be somewhat positional if you're not in a high signal level area. But hey, it's a stubby duck!
