I needed an organizer for my cookbooks on the top of my refrigerator (small kitchen limited counter space) so this was PERFECT! It arrived a day earlier than expected (bonus) and was very easy to assemble. Everything was in great shape, no nicks, dents, missing pieces, etc - good quality. It fits wonderful on top of my fridge and holds the extra large cookbooks along with the smaller ones very nicely. I also love that you can adjust it to be longer or shorter to fit into the space you are placing it or add more/less books.

I like to read in bed and keep several books of various sizes there. Invariably, the books and papers creep out, compromising the available mattress space. I was looking for a solution when I came across this organizer. I set it on the edge of my mattress against the wall. What a beautiful design. It's well-made, thoughtful, and can be collapsed into half its size if you wish. The shelf is made of wood. I would buy this again in a second. You can store small, medium or large-format books, hard-bound or paperback. The shelf is sturdy. So glad I found it. Makes my bed a haven instead of a cluttered mess.

Bookshelf works as described. Nothing fancy, does the job. Adjustable width is a plus. Some reviews said it's difficult to assemble, but I didn't have any trouble.I'm using it on a kitchen counter, so I got some little self-adhesive plastic buttons to stick on the bottom of this shelf, to protect the wood in case the counter gets wet.

I had bought one of these bookends for my bedroom dresser about a year ago, and loved it so much I recently bought another for my daughter’s room. I love that we can take out a book and the rest of the heavy books we have stay in place, without everything falling over or sliding. It’s real wood, so it’s good quality - and even the white one (for my daughter’s room) looks beautiful.The picture-only assembly instructions were not too difficult to follow once you realize how the pieces are supposed to slide against each other, but I can see if some people are confused at first when trying to put it together!

This met my expectations. I am use to assembling things. And I would say on a scale of 0-10 being the most easy assemble ... this is a 8. The manual doesn’t have many words to explain and you have to go by two diagrams. I did starting assembling one way and then realized what they were trying to depict in the drawing and quickly re did it. I didn’t mind. I am happy with the price and happy with the product . It feels sturdy. All you need is a Phillip head screw driver, good attitude and patience.

The assembly instructions for this product are highly deficient. Judging from the previous comments you have received, you are aware of this issue and are choosing not to address it.Your priority is definitely NOT your customers

I used it in a corner of my kitchen counter to hold cookbooks. I wanted them off the counter so that the counter could be wiped, etc. It works perfectly and its easy to slide for cleaning. It looks nice too and easy to put together

I am so glad that I found this little expandable book rack. I have a toddler who loves books and would pull everything off the shelf and loved knocking them over. Bookends were dangerous and unhelpful. The metal ones were cute but seemed unsafe and so I found this one and I'm in love with it. It fit the space perfectly and has expanded as we've added to his books within reach. He's not bothered it and likes reshelving his books now and this rack makes it easy to do. I highly recommend it and will be getting more in the future as they are needed.

Love this bookshelf, HOWEVER, the instructions are a DISASTER!!! I have had to go on the Amazon site, find the bookshelf so I could take pictures of it to print out, so I could get a close look at it to put it together....2 hours later! I do give the product itself a 5 out of 5, it's exact to the pictures of the item, very cute!
