Decent ice maker. Once attached to the waterline it makes ice just fine. It does not have a cooling mechanism so it doesn't keep the ice frozen. It also doesn't recycle water from the melted ice so you do have to have a proper place to drain the excess water. It produces ice pretty quickly and it tastes fine. The auto cleaning functions seems to work just fine. At the very least it didn't produce any funny-tasting ice. Make sure to measure where you plan on putting this machine and have the waterline ready.
