I've only had this for a couple weeks, and so far nothing negative. This machine rocks as follows:-Love the stainless steel, sleek design. Matches everything in my kitchen. Machine is taller than I realized, so be sure you've factored in spacing required for going under cabinets in kitchen, or put in open space with nothing above it. Mine fits comfortably under a cabinet.-Performs as expected. Inside stays clean. We use purified water only for ice cubes, which reduces and even eliminates staining. No smell inside or out.-Super easy to start and stop. You're only going to be using the start and select buttons. That's it. Easy to clean and wipe down. Water resistant.-Not super loud. Pretty minimal IMO.-Creates ice pretty quick but allow it to go through several cycles of you want more ice.-To prevent ice from melting once dispensed in basket, I scoop it out immediately and put it in a Ziploc freezer bag. Each time ice is dispensed I do it again. Pull the bag out of the freezer and repeat process...scoop ice in, seal and put back in freezer. This way we have a whole gallon size bag full of ice in the freezer ready to be used that same day or next day. This does mean you'd have to be on standby, but I love doing it this way. Ice generally doesn't freeze together either making it difficult to break apart once in freezer. When I put the full bag of ice in my freezer, I lay it flat so there's no ice clumps. Easy peasy.The only negative thing IMO is that this product doesn't come with a magnetic strip or fixture of some kind to be able to keep the white scoop stored on the side when not in use. Not a deal breaker, though...my husband and I plan on investing in one just to keep the scooper off the counter. I usually sit it on top of the machine where the window is. Still a 5 star product.

Bought this for my mother in law for her birthday because she is obsessed with ice and their fridge ice broke. Makes a lot of ice! Not very noisy! It makes the ice quick and works very well! She loves I a lot!

When my husband and I bought our house years ago, it came with a fridge and an extremely noisy ice maker. We got sick of our narrow refrigerator doors and recently bought a new Frigidaire fridge with full wide length fridge/freezer doors and no ice maker.We love this ice machine—it does exactly what it promises by producing ice quickly. It’s quieter than our previous fridge ice maker and we love that you can get ice in two sizes of cubes.Appliance stores have convinced people to buy fridges with ice makers built in but they take away a good chunk of space for your food.The Iceman is a great alternative—you save $200 on the appliance and even buying this you still come out ahead financially. It looks high quality on the countertop too.

I actually like this machine. Pros are that it makes a perfect size ice in two different sizes and it is easy to fill and clean and it is slightly compact enough to fit on my counter. The con is not really a con but it may annoy some people. There is not anything in the machine that keeps the ice cold once it is made so you either need to make it and take it out and put it in your freezer and turn the machine off or you need to leave it on continuously. When left on continuously, it makes the ice and then as the ice melts it starts back up and re-makes it. Every time you open the lid to get ice, it will regenerate and make more. I drink a 40 ounce Stanley a few times a day and I just love having ice available. I do have to leave it plugged in and on at all times but I have not noticed any issues and there is always ice when I need it. But you should note it does not make it in 10 minutes as described and the first time that you plug it in it takes a long time, but then it stays caught up . It is not a large amount of ice but enough to fill a 40 ounce Stanley and then it needs to make more. My refrigerator does not have an icemaker, so this has been super awesome for me. But as I said, for people that are annoyed by some thing, running all the time, this would not be for you. It does run frequently throughout the day/night.

Sà cumple lo que dice de hacer 9 hielos cada aprox 8 minutos, al menos en mi caso que casi siempre uso el tamaño pequeño. Es cierto que no se conservan tanto tiempo pero con que se vaya vaciando de vez en cuando esta bien. Sà recomiendo usar agua purificada (para evitar sarro) y que esté frÃa para mejores resultados. Le agregarÃa alguna alarma para cuando se llena la bandeja y un botón de power, para no tener que desconectarla cuando se deja de usar. Fuera de ahÃ, me sirve muy bien para tener el hielo para las salidas del fin de semana, echo mis cervezas en una hielera y le agrego una o 2 bolsas ziploc tamaño grande de este hielo, y listo.

Tamaño de hielo muy pequeño y no los conserva bien en su contenedor, tienden a derretirse muy rápido ahà dentro. Y si deseas conservarlos en un congelador para usarlos más tarde se fusionan entre sà facilmente y forman un bloque enorme ( que es lo que no quieres ).
