I'm on my first packet even after 8 months in the dark room. Tonality looks spot on. I've been told by my local supplier that you can keep using it unless the solution looks brown. Mine is still clear. I'm storing it in a cool location in a light and air tight container (not an accordion air removal though). Happy developing.

I use Ilford ID-11 either at stock or as a 1+1 mix. I've had this develop last at stock dilution for a year in my darkroom. I also mix up 1+1 and reuse it for a month at a time without issue. Wonderful value and the tones are fantastic. Pair it with Tri-X, TMAX or any Delta film and it fabulous!

Some background on me: I am a film shooter and I have shot and self-developed about 900 rolls of film in my life.I bought this Ilford ID-11 through the third party, MPCInc, as the price was pretty good. I still had a few bags of Kodak D76 that I was working through, so I didn't mix the Ilford ID-11 until six months after I bought (2) boxes of the product. In the meantime, I stored it in my chemical closet which is maintained at 70F/21C. Both of the two boxes of ID-11 were bad, with Part A being a brown color. I mixed the 5L and separated it into (2) 2-liter containers and (1) 1-liter glass jar. The chemical didn't mix properly (it seems that Part A had oxidized) and it separated in all three containers, so the parts didn't mix properly. I washed out all of my mixing and storage containers and repeated the process again with my second box, It too was bad.I did some research and I am also in the process of contacting Ilford with the code on the box to see how old the product sold actually is. Don't buy from MPCInc is my advice. I placed an order from an actual photo store and am waiting for my trusted product to arrive.
