Using this for an unconditional use: to change diapers. My babies are too old for the changing table so this allows me to do it on the floor and disinfect the surface easily.

I've had the large mat down for about two weeks and am very happy. The concern raised by others about getting it to unroll and lie flat is real. I took the advice of some and let it lie in the sun on the deck for a few hours and then quickly brought it to my home office while still somewhat soft and put some books on the ridges. While minor ridges remain, they are not causing a functional inconvenience. I am sure over time and with the chair rolling around they will disappear. My advice to the company would be, a) store these flat and don't roll each until being prepped for shipping which will give less time for the "memory" in the plastic to adapt to being rolled, and b) get on top of what is obviously the major product5 complaint and insert a note with advice about how to unroll and make flat. All this being said, it is well conceived and made and is doing its job well and I give it five stars.

I like the transparency of this mat. As you can see from the photo, the only reason you can tell it’s there is because light is reflecting off of it. The bottom side has a tiny bit of roughness to help with grip, which is fine and does not take away from the appearance.People are complaining that it moves. I have seen a little movement, but since I think they are trying to make a functional product that doesn’t take away from the beauty of the floor underneath it, a little movement from time to time is ok. It’s not sliding all over the place by any means, as some of these reviews are suggesting.It shipped flat (rather than rolled up as I had expected), which was great because the mat laid perfectly flat out of the box.One other thing: I like that this is a little wider than some of the others. I don’t think a 30 inch mat would have worked for me, as I’m constantly moving among three monitors. Something to consider.Overall, a great buy.

I've been looking for something like this for ages. I have purchased a few in the past, only for them to arrive and have that strong chemical smell. This one is perfect thickness, slightly textured on one side, smooth on the other. It came rolled up in a box. I opened the top of the box and did the sniff test and to my surprise, no smell whatsoever! I just unrolled the mat and set some throw pillows on top of the corners. The mat was flat in about 30 minutes. I have not experienced it sliding around. It's clear so my hardwood floor can be seen through it, so it doesn't mess up my minimalist decor. I was at a big box office supply store and they were selling mats this size for about $79-$99. I might get another for my front door because they're so easy to clean.

This would be perfect for a hard wood tile laminate floor since it literally is just h thick plastic this doesn’t do well on carpet that’s the only reason it didn’t work. Otherwise the product is good for the correct application nice and cheap cost with thick material.

Have had this mat since 2017 and it's still protecting the floor. 5-stars for price and quality!We have wood floors and we operated without a mat for a number of years, then noticed the finish wearing away on the floor. Unfortunately enough grit make it off your shoes or other areas of the house onto the floor and once the office chair wheels pick that up it's grinding it into the floor. So it's not JUST the wheels themselves rolling across it causing the wear, but anything the wheels pick up. Well, this mat eliminates wear on the floors. It's been durable and I've had no issues with it. Quality product & well worth the price!

After several months of owning this mat, it has yet to lay flat on the floor, it always buckles up at the top where the chair sits. I even put a nail in the hardwood floor to try to keep it in place, that didn't help keep t flat either. It is unpleasant to use and to look at, avoid this mat, spend your money on a better product.

I purchased this floor mat to rest on a vinyl strip floor. There is a heavy chair that sits on it. The mat came rolled up in a box, but I had no issues getting it to lay flat. It has no odors and is very clear that you can see the floor through it. It does tend to shift as the chair moves on it.

I should have thought of this but bought without thinking as usual. Package arrived, on the box were the clues. Large instructions on how to flatten mat. Then the shipping labels.. made in China, shipped to Seattle, then shipped to California, then shipped to Illinois then to me. Clearly this has sat on a shelf. Out of the box this mat is almost impossible to unroll by yourself. Once flattened out, put in front of the fireplace and piled on heavy flat boxes/totes. After 24 hours I believe this mat will not flatten without using my hot gun which I will try after giving the fireplace and boxes another 48 hours. Looks like a huge lasagna noodle. Will update in a week or so.Update, will not flatten out, looks bad and dirt will only accumulate under every roll. I have decided to throw out, I have spent to much time on it. Will get one from staples when possible.

It arrived thin and cheap quality rolled up in a tiny box !! Does NOT keep down, it keeps rolling up!! The only reason I bought this was due to the Ad stating that it ships " FLAT " had I wanted one Rolled up, I could have spent half the price on Amazon with another seller. They should be removed from Amazon for misleading clients!!!!!!! read other reviews they were mislead like me with a ROLLED UP MATT!** MISLEADING AD **Unlike our competitors, we ship all of our office chair mats flat so you don't have to waste any time flattening them. Plus, flat shipping prevents them from being damaged. Our floor mats for office chairs are built to last!

Very thin material that did not hold up to a chair being wheeled on it. The product buckled. Do not recommend for true office chair use.
