It does its job. It always shows suggestions on one of the 3 options. I'd prefer it had an option to just show what is current.

I purchased this initially for color temperature measurements only, since the other options were around 5 times higher. it does seem to get this correct. However, using the instrument for reflective and incident lighting is only accurate if strobe lighting is not included. The relationships between the Strobe percentage, the Photocell Trigger sensitivity and the time values are not in the instructions. Furthermore, the resultant time exposure numbers are when measured with Flash Metering engaged are higher than what is shown for ambient light. Those numbers jump around, too. All in all, I think this is (or was, since I'm not sure this company is coming back), an okay option for measuring color and exposure for ambient conditions, only.
