We love this pan! It is smaller than I thought it would be, but it ended up being a very good thing that it is! This pan is the absolute ideal size for cooking an egg. It keeps a fried or sunny-side-up egg nice and round, with even thickness throughout, just because of the size! It's hard to find lids of this size, so I'm really happy this pan came with one. I hate it when you have to use a giant lid on a tiny pan.. it's just not satisfying like a lid that fits perfectly and gets a nice seal. The non-stick surface is of good quality. We've used this pan for months now, and there isn't one stray mark or chip on its surface, after numerous scrapes with various turners. Eggs slide nice and gently out of it onto a plate, making cooking breakfast a bit easier. This pan cleans in seconds. Nothing seems to become stuck to it, so we haven't had to scrape off food or mystery goo or anything else. It looks shiny and new still every time we wash it! It is extremely light. For me, I don't know what difference the weight of a pan would make (I'm not some fanciful chef obviously), but I figured it was worth noting as Amazon had me rate that specifically. My son, an 11-year-old that wants to be a chef when he grows up, uses this pan all the time, and says it's perfect. He probably understands all the reasons why it's such a great product more than I do. One more point - holy moly, the price of this was fantastic! This was an excellent buy, and I'd recommend it to anyone to add to their pot and pan collection!

I originally bought this in a store years ago and was so sad when it was lost during a move. When I saw it here I got SO EXCITED I bought two!!Fits three eggs PERFECTLY cooked over easy, fried, or however you want. Preftect size of a single grilled cheese too!!Slide the eggs right into the lid for a flawless flip!!Seriously- hand wash this pan and it will last YEARS. Best value for your money. I would riot for this silly little pan.

So far I am very happy. I wanted to replace an old egg pan that had a worn out non-stick surface. It turns out that it is the same pan. (The old pan is 6.3" Imusa) I didn't look at the brand of the old pan before I ordered. I had the old pan for about 12 years, I know that this one will and probably any non-stick pan will wear out over time. Truth be told, I should have replaced mine years ago. (though I make a lot of eggs) My guess is that it will last about 5 years cooking eggs about 50% of the mornings. (actually this is just a guess....I may replace it earlier, it is worth it)The new pan has a great non-stick surface. If I were skilled enough, I could flip my eggs in the air. (you have to gently catch it while moving downward to avoid the yolk from breaking) At one point, I was good enough to flip eggs. For now, I slide the egg onto the cover and put the pan on top upside down. Then I quickly flip the entire thing. I apply heat for about 5 seconds and turn off the burner. I leave it there for a few more seconds and they are over easy the way I like them.Having a pan with a lid is a big deal to me. I like to coat it lightly with butter, crack the eggs and throw them on and let it heat up a bit. Once it starts cooking, I add water and put the lid on. The water boils and cooks the eggs on top a bit. I do that thing that I mentioned above instead of flipping them in the air and a few seconds later they are done. I quickly drop them on my plate to get them facing the right way again. The size is about perfect for 2 eggs. I looked at other pans that were more expensive but one had a handle that was so heavy it made it unstable. Most pans didn't have a cover. I have no idea why the word Casserole is in the title of this pan. I would call it a 2 egg pan myself.I kept the old lid from my old pan and now I have 2 lids. (sometimes the lid is dirty and the pan is clean) The old pan was shot. I threw it away. From now on, I'm replacing my fried egg pan every 5 years or whenever it needs it.

Like it for cooking eggs. Seems to be very impenetrable and nonstick. Bought a red one and a black one. Love em.

Pan works well for frying an egg and sausage for one person. . Non-stick surface good. However I had to throw the cover away because the coating started peeling off.

I was surprised by how small it was, but I only cook for myself so it's ok. It as has a lid. Even with a microwave, air fryer & toaster oven, I wanted the pan to deep fry about 33 bite-size lumpias to make sure the inside of the lumpia which had pork was thoroughly cooked until it was no longer pink inside. Not cooking meat thoroughly can mean getting life-threatening illnesses from bacteria & parasites (like worms). Each time, I was able to deepfry about 11 one-inch bite-size lumpias, so I only had to deepfry 3 times. I like the fact that I use very little cooking oil & waste alot less cooking oil when I deepfry. The handle is cool during frying. I use silicon coated non-stick tongs. You don't want to use metal utensils since they'll scratch off the non-stick surface. The pan is easy to clean off with just a wet toilette or paper towel.I needed the lid for doing simple cooking like sweating sliced onions to become soft & glossy which only takes a couple of minutes. Then, I can remove the lid to add the eggs or other animal protein. Even the lid was easy to clean just like the pan.

This pan is light-- the exact opposite from high quality, expensive pans. It cooks my food perfectly. What I make not only doesn't stick, the food slides right out. I cannot recommend this enough. The one tiny issue is I wanted a red or blue pan. The picture shows those, but the only choice is black.

Pequeños y prácticos con tapa. Los recomiendo para los huevos estrellados.

I suspect the 5.8" (Casserole) and 6.3"(Handled) pans will work well as non stick frying pans. However one should know that the non handled 5.8" pan holds an absolute maximum of 350ml and the handled 6.3" holds a maximum of 450ml. The 5.8" pan with lid weighs 151 grams on my scale and the 6.3" pan with lid weighs 199 grams. I am well aware that these pans will work better than a titanium pan for cooking, unfortunately they are not for the weight conscience backpacker looking for more volume.
