I was trying to fly one of my easy to launch kites on a windy day at the coast and needed something to keep the kite from going nuts. This pretty tail was the best solution. I have used strips of old cloth tied together on string, but this was much prettier and I received a lot of comments on its long flowing tail. It made my parrot kite even more awesome!

It lasted over a year before separating and losing its color. I have had it up in the desert wind and it finally started to fall apart. Very nice visually and a great wind monitor!Ordered another one.

The product is effective and attractive. It seems like it is good enough quality that it wont break down, but I think it could probably look a little nicer. At this price point it looks good. The part I didn't expect is that it is ONE tail. This is not three separate tails. It is one tail that has three parts.Unless you need three separate tails don't let this stop you from buying it though. It works great and looks nice in the sky the way it is.

I purchased this as a wind indicator for flying a Powered Paraglider. Actually, I cut all but three strands of ribbon and saved the others for when the first three ware out. I purchased a 'grommet kit' to make a new end for the remaining ribbons. This works WAY better as a light wind indicator than any wind sock I have. I actually ordered a second one to have as a spare.. !!!

The colors are bright and have not faded. However, the fabric frays easily and the streamers stick together rather than flying freely. Even after trimming, the ribbons just frayed more and continued to stick. Unfortunately, this will only be a one-season display at our beach house.

These are nice tails. Good quality for the price. I use them for my Prism Stowaway. They are very stabilizing because of their length and weight. Very much recommended to have a set of these tails in your kite bag.

Even though the packaging says there are (2) 3 ribbon tails there is only one 3 ribbon tail in each package. The tail is made from very thin but rip stop material.
