Good value for a really good pump. Very quiet, and easy to install with the included fittings. Like the two speed option, as it saves on the electric usage. I put it on high speed when the pool usage is high.

I replaced the Hayward Superpump with this today. The pump did have to be elevated approximately 1.75" to line up with existing plumbing but was an easy fix with a couple pavers from Lowes. It's quieter than the Hayward pump ever was, and seems to run the vacuum as good or better. I'll definitely recommend this pump to anyone looking for a replacement.

My original pool pump that came when it was put in was a 1 1/2HP that worked just fine until electrical storm knocked it out so I found this one which is a 2HP circulating about 2000 more gallons than my other one. Best move I could have had. Should have researched and done this sooner. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it. My only dislike would be it doesn't come with an on off switch but I had an outdoor timer that I used and can run it all the time or use the timer with an on / off switch. The price was comparable to others and not bad at all. I would buy it again.

I ordered a $700 plus pump fromPool Factory.comWhen I ordered my entire semi in ground pool setup.I love the pool but only got 2 years out of the pump.Which is crazy because I drain it and bring it into my house closet for winter both years.But it started screeching this year at start upLike the bearings were bad.I initially went to order another one, but decided to check Amazon first and see if I could find one that looked similar.Glad I did because this pump is quieter than my first overpriced pump.Seems to flow a lot better too.If this is your style pump don’t hesitate a minute, just order it, I promise you will be happy you did.I’m sure others that left bad reviews didn’t make sure to let the pump fill first or before turning it on.Like come on a water pump needs water to function correctly.Seriously I and 2 months in on this pump and I don’t know needed to leave this review because it is a great deal and a Great pump!

The pump stopped working 3 weeks after starting it up. I just installed the pool and it was working great. Made it easy to vacuum the pool and skimmed the top great. I went down to swim in it and I turned it off to backwash the filter, turned it off to switch it to filter. The pump made noise but it did not pump. I let it site over night and it make the same whinning noise from the night before. I bought a second one because I am out of town and I am having a family member replace it. I hope the second one works a lot longer. They reached out to me to make it right and they did. I was surprised on how fast they reached out to me, to fix the issue. They kept me informed on what they were doing, in a timely manner. I look forward to using the second pump and I know that of I have an issue, I will get great customer service.

Really liked the price of the pump, the quote I got for Hayward Super was $1200 so was eager this one under $300 would work. Slip fitting joints, while the pipe goes almost two inches in you would think theres no way it would leak…..it does so be sure to use pipe dope and avoid trying to redo it because once that pipe gets pushed in all that way you’ll spend 30min trying to back it out. Also if you care about the noise of your pump, this one soumds like a hogh end quiet pump is bad its VERY VERY loud. Im serious its LOUD, if equipment is close to ur house ur gonna really hear it inside. But if u dnt care this is a great pump for the money. I assumed it was a direct electrical connection like my other pumps but it had a regular plug which is a bit wierd you can cut it and wire it direct I might do it next weekend so i can use my exisiting on/off switches is easier to use that way.
