This review is for the 3/4 HP AQUASTRONG Pool Pump for Above Ground Pools, 115V, 4332 GPH, High Flow Self-Priming Pump with Filter Basket and Adapters.I grabbed this nice looking pump as a backup in case it's needed for the pool or pond filter. It's a good size, looks to be well made, it's much lighter weight than another I have larger one from this brand, so it's easier for me to handle. Of course oncew they're set up I won't be lugging them around LOL. So the weight may not matter as much to you, but I'm a short handicapped woman with a very bad back. It should work great for my application whichever I end up using it with. I can't speak to longevity yet, but it appears to be a well made pump. If there's any issues that arise I'll be sure to update my review.Regular price $ 99.00 per the listing and I'm good with it.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I ordered this pump to replace the pump that came with my Intex 18’ round pool. Installation was easy…Be aware that if you are converting to a pump like this and using Intex 1.5†hoses you will need the 40mm to 1.5†adapters to use the Intex hoses. My pool is just under 7k gallons and this will turn my pool over once in just under two hours. Strong flow and super quiet, I am super impressed! Huge improvement over my original pump.

Purchased to replace my old Intex pump that finally let go. The install was easy with the included adapters. I like that its built in basket screen has smaller holes to catch more stuff that gets past the skimmer. The big thing though is that the pump is so much quieter. It still moves a big volume of water. Very happy! Nice warranty.

We got this just in case ours fails. Our old one is several years old and is starting to come to the end of its lifespan. We plugged it up and it started humming away. We didn't leave it on because it has no water running through it, obviously, because it is winter time and our pool has been winterized and the filter is put away. But, I do believe it will be just fine. And, if our old one does fail, we will be ready with a new one. Recommend.
