I adore this set of yarn; the variety of colors is amazing, and the yarns are soft and strong, with a very subtle sheen that isn't as bright as Caron Simply Soft, but not so dull that it appears fuzzy or rough. I appreciate that some of the colors come in hues which are part of a gradient (example in picture), which is very difficult to find when looking for acrylic yarns.As for negatives, the yarns are all thinner than advertised: I would say they're more accurately between 2 and 3 on the weight scale. I can still use them, but I was hoping they'd be a tiny bit thicker.The tote the set comes in is disappointing, but not a huge deal (unless you were relying on it to store these skeins): it opens by zipper around the middle of the bag... it's not terrible, but there's no way you could reasonably store all the skeins of yarn and tools in there and be able to access the ones you need without risking tangling the yarn, or worse, things falling out and being lost.The hooks are standard aluminum hooks with no grip. Not terrible, but I have better ones. They are also way too large for the yarn... I already put them away, but I believe one was 4 mm and the other was 5.5 mm. I typically use a 3.5 mm hook or smaller, and it was a bit larger than it needed to be for these yarns.The large-eyed yarn needles are also unsuitable for this yarn.I do like the stitch markers included, though: they're very useful.Overall, I love the set and colors, but I wouldn't say it's for beginners. The skeins are too small and the yarn is too thin to really be able to practice with, and it's not cost effective at all. It would be better suited for an experienced crochet artist who is looking for a large variety of colors to use in amigurumi work.

Awesome color variety for amigurumi! The yarn is soft and nice to work with. Yes there are some minor issues with fraying etc but honestly same quality as popular brands, and better than Caron little crafties. Highly recommend

I'm new to Yarn crafts. Bought this for the large assortment of colors. The yarns rolls are smaller than I thought. And the storage bag for this is a cheap material not great quality. I was hoping to buy a nice bag for yarn to use over and over. This is cheap quality. Looks better in the photos. The yarn is soft and great assortment.

Nice variety of colors but the carrying bag is not as advertised. The picture shows it opening flat like a suitcase so you can see what colors you have but mine opens halfway more like a duffle bag that you have to rummage through. Very cheap and thin like a disposable bag, not thrilled

This was a gift for a loved one . She loved the the case and the yarn inside . It will make it easier for her to keep up with the yarn . I just wish the skins of yarn were bigger.

My daughter has been crocheting for a while and she ran out of yarn. Too many trips to hobby lobby so I bought her this set and it’s worth the money. The quality and quantity of the yarn is worth it. She won’t be running out anytime soon.

Tons of colours and softest yarn. Bonus that it comes in a cool bag. Includes a couple of crochet hooks and stitch markers which I didn’t realize. Would recommend.

Schnelle Lieferung, die Farbe der Wolle ist genauso, wie auf den Bildern. Leider gibt es die Wolle wohl nicht einzeln zu kaufen. Was ich sehr schade finde.
