Nice heavy egg bite mold. The other brands out there are cheap and flimsy, these are much thicker and work great. I've made eggs, meatballs, all kinds of things with these. Easy to clean and durable

Like many people out there, I love the egg bites at Starbucks, but I don't love the price. After some research on the recipe and how to make them custard-y without the sous vide, I went ahead and purchased this, mostly for the mold (even though you can use a standard muffin tray). I don't own an instapot, but this works perfectly fine with a standard oven. The egg bites came out perfectly cooked and you don't even need to use oil if you don't want to, they slide right out. Great product overall.

First time using it and came out with 7 (nearly) perfect egg bites! I had been making them in the oven but the water bath is a pain in the A so invested in this mold. So glad I did!! I did not even grease the mold and they slid out easily by turning it upside down and poking the bottoms with my finger.The perfect recipe to fit this mold:4 large eggs1/2 c cottage cheese (113g)1/2 c shredded cheese (56g)Salt, pepper, a splash of hot sauceBlend it all in the blender or food processor until totally liquid.Pour into mold.Add whatever toppings you want - I stirred in some bacon crumbles. Don’t fill too high.Add 1 c cold water to Instant Pot and insert metal trivet.Place mold into the Pot on top of the trivet.10 min high pressure followed by 10 min natural release.Thats it!PS… I HATE cottage cheese but try to eat a lot of protein. This is the perfect recipe to sneak it in. I’ve lost 80lbs and egg bites are a staple!

Great product!! I have used these for a few months. Next to the trivet these are my most used Instant pot accessories. Easy to use in 8qt Instant pot/crisper. I know it has other uses but egg bites are my go to. My standard recipe is 4 eggs, 1/3 C cottage cheese, 1 C cheese of choice, seasoning of choice and extras may include xtra cheese, meat or veggies. Blend ingredients, pour mixture in mold put lid on and put on trivet in IP. I repeat the process for the second mold. Dont forget to add waterto the inner pot. Steam for 8 min and natural release. You have tasty egg bites (better than coffee shop egg bites) and they release easily. Hand wash and rinse well. I dont recommend washing in a dishwasher. I dont prep the mold with butter or oil. Some times i flip it in my hand and tap the bottom of the mold to release the eggs. It can be used in the Crisper bake function or oven (yes with lid on). However, I prefer them steamed.
