Q: Do I need to drill holes for installation?
A: Yes, holes need to be drilled to hide the wiring also more aesthetically pleasing.
Q: How to connect power supply to actual power?
A: It comes with a USA standard 2 prong plug.
Q: Why are the lights all stay illuminated?
A: The lights may have accidentally switched to "Always-on Mode". Use the remote control to back to "Cascading Mode". If the lights are still stay illuminated after switching, please message us for help.

Installation was a breeze in terms of the product itself. They look great and work perfectly. My only complaints involve going down the stairs: 1) there is a slight delay, so when going down the stairs the lights don’t turn on until step 2 or 3. 2)there isn’t a way to mount the sensor at the very top, as opposed to just underneath the first step. So you have to step down on one step to trigger the lights. It would be really nice to have the lights turn on when I walk up to the stairs.

We had our contractor install the lights and they aren't operating properly. My fear is they weren't installed correctly. Three are staying on and they don't light up in order. :(
