We purchased a few slow feeders to try out and we found that Bestalk Soft Silicone insert works best for our dog. The large blue insert fits into a Neater Feeder large stainless steel food bowl. The suction on stainless steel works well - it doesn't budge when our dog is eating.We feed 2 cups (mix of dry and wet) at a time and there is room to spare. It slows down our dog's eating time from a few seconds to a few minutes. This was very helpful as our rescue dog used to inhale his food and then would choke, gag, and vomit. Since we've been using the slow feeder insert, he hasn't choked, gagged, or vomited.The insert is very soft and flexible so it doesn't hurt his nose when he's digging for every last bit of food.

this fits perfectly in the bowl and actually slows him down (for a little bit). the silicone is easy to scrub in between and soft enough for the teeth. the Valleys are deep enough to where he has to work at it and not just demolish his bowl. the suction is strong, but not watertight. some wet food or topping broth does seep under. just remember to remove and clean under it.

Works exactly like stated. However the large isn't that big. But the material is soft and movable.

This is exactly what I needed to put inside my puppy’s food bowl to slow him down when he eats. We use a Yeti bowl and this insert sticks right to the metal using suction cups. Very happy with the price and it is sturdy and well-made. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something to go inside the bowl that you already have to slow down the pace of your dog’s eating. Our puppy was eating so fast he would throw up at times. He hasn’t thrown up once since we’ve gotten this. Easy to use, easy to clean.

I really like this product and it does exactly what it needs to - suctions well, is high-quality and slows down my French bulldogs eating a lot. However, because of two closed in design corners on either side of the slow feeder, food can sometimes get stuck. This aggravates my Frenchie & ignites his resource guarding when I get near the bowl as there is still food stuck in it. I have to dig the food out for him half the time which is annoying. Pay attention to the design width on the edges of each ending of the slow feeding insert before you buy!

These work great! The size difference between the L and XL is insane. The grey/blue one is the large and the bright blue one is the XL. I have the Yeti 8 dog bowls for reference and the XL is a little too big for it, the sides turn up a little bit when it is suction cupped to the bottom.

If you are wanting these for a medium bowl then you will need a large or xl as a medium fits a small dish and is too small for a medium.....not happy
