This kit was easy to use as a replacement for the pump quit working. It was an easy hook up the hoses, plug in and go setup.

Our 16' x 10' x 42" Coleman pool came with a 1000gph pump... and the filters in it had to be changed/cleaned 2 to 3 times a week. And we where constantly fighting chemicals.. algae.. and other wonderful pool maintenance. We hooked this pump up and within I would say 8hrs the water was just about as clear as the day we filled the pool. This thing is strong enough to make the skimmer I bought work like it's supposed to as well. I will say if you are converting from the small pump set up to this pump like I did... the pump does not come with all the necessary components... and I did have to enlarge one of the holes in the liner(outlet/discharge) to accommodate the larger fitting.

Got this for my Intex 12x30 above ground pool that came with a fairly useless filter pump. Assembled it alone, no problem, bought adapters to attach hoses to the 1 1/4 couplings and filled it with sand. The pump is working great so far and the pool looks (and feels) fantastic!
